Red's Old 395 Grill

"Fun place to go. Large number of menu selections. We had the fried bread as an appetizer. Shrimp scampi and Shepards pie for entrees. Huge servings and tasted great. The shepards pie had puff pastry covering the normal mashed potato topping and it was a little spicy. I would certainly order it again."

"My family and I visit Red's at least once a month. I would recommend the wood smoked salmon, chicken piccata, Friday meatloaf special, or skinny chicken tacos. Everything on the menu is great, though. The chocolate cake and bread pudding are both delicious! The atmosphere of Red's is wonderful."

"This place was awesome..great food, service, and atmosphere. I had the jalapeno bombs, which were delicious. The Ceasar salad with salmon was very good. The best thing in the whole place is the brisket. It was wet and amazing. The smoked chicken was almost as good as the brisket. Cornbread, beans...MUAH!! Portions were very generous. Update for 2nd visit on 11/24 in photos."

"I've been here a few times over the years, and it's always an enjoyable time, with great food. I personally wouldn't touch most of their BBQ (not a fan of West Coast BBQ attempts), and I still give it 5 stars for the rest of their menu."

Red's Old 95 Grill, ideally located in Carson City between Lake Tahoe and Reno, is a great example of what we enjoy. Not only do you get great barbeque here, but you enjoy it in an Old West museum setting and are served by a super friendly staff. We loved it and highly recommend it to travelers and locals."
