Reviews
"My son is currently a freshman at UNR and I wanted to give the cooks and other staff a shout out in a positive light. Every day he loves the food so much. I have been meaning to write this review since august 2023. He loves the desserts, pastas, selections of veggies and every type of meat dish he has he says is amazing. Thank you to all who work here to keep my kid full…he’s a food guy so a good meal matters. Thank you for keeping his belly full!"
"I stayed at the dorms for a year. The food was so unappealing that I was able to lose 30 pounds that year no problem. The only thing that is consistent there is the coffee and the desserts which are supplied by Sysco. Everyone who worked there looked depressed working there. The chef seems like a nice guy and I understand that have profits in mind and thats all they seem to care about. But it's not that hard to make better tasting food with what they have with a little care. They're making a killing off of people forced to eat there (all the people in the dorms under 21 have to purchase a meal plan). Do not trust the salad bar chicken unless you build an immunity to it. If you do decide to eat here for some awful reason under your freewill, don't. If you really hate your SO take them here. If you're forced to eat here, you might as well lose a few pounds *trying* to eat here. Get the lowest price meal plan, use all your foodbucks, and use a takeout box to take as much as you can fit to stretch your meal if you need rip the dc lul"
"I honestly don't know if word can properly describe the absolute trash that is consumed when one comes to this ATROCITY of a food establishment. It's... Just... Ok. So. Story time. I genuinely enjoyed the food for the first month or so. The pizza was good. The salad was leafy goodness. The soup was actually good. Then. Then the horrour known as the holidays came around and, the food turned into something, unrecognizable. I apologised to my toilet because it doesn't and didn't deserve that travesty. The food quality DROPPED after break. It. Is. Trash. Don't do that too yourself. Love yourself fam. Love yourself and eat a delish LITERALLY ANYWERE ESLE!"
"It depends on what you eat there. You can't expect paper-wrapped burgers and pizza to be of good quality. The stir fry, salad bar, and Comfort eats sections are pretty good! It serves slightly better food than any high school cafeteria, but that isn't a very good standing on its own. Otherwise, customer service and accommodations are fantastic. The DC can easily improve if more focus (money wise) went towards it."
