Big Cormorant Lake Public Access - West 520 Lafayette, Lake Park, MN 56554

"Always busy unless not a weekend. Often wait time of 20-40 minutes at peak times. Wish they would remove the dual docks and do a dual ramp set up like pelican lake does. Often have to park on the road but I've been lucky several times and gotten a spot for my truck and 24ft pontoon trailer. Facilities are good with 2 porta johns at the ramp that are reasonably well kept. Landing can be shallow (less than 4 feet) about 6 feet from the end of the docks where people who power loader blow the sand and silt out. Angle of the ramp is acceptable if a tad steep for larger vessels. I've never had to put in 4WD for a 3/4 ton suburban and 24ft pontoon. Some slipping but manageable."

"Decent concrete launch with a paved parking lot. There is around 20 parking spots for rigs and plenty of room to squeeze about. The ramp is moderately shallow and there are two docks available. A yard light is also on site. Not a bad location overall and quite easy to use. Plus no long walk to the rig from the water."
