"Though I did enjoy the slots and did not win. I also enjoyed the prime Rib dinner. I think wholeheartedly that the "tribal elders" parking spots should come before the HANDICAPPED parking! I have severe back issues abd other people are in wheelchairs as well. But we have to park way farther than the "tribal elders" that are already getting rich off of the money we pump into their machines!"

"Nice clean casino. Mostly smoke free. Fun atmosphere, with a lot of slots and table choices. 3 restaurants and a fast food counter. Hotel is currently being renovated, but the mess is very contained. The new rooms look great!"

"This is one of my favorite casinos to visit. They have a great variety of slots. The smoking and non-smoking areas are great. A gambler can choose what works best for them. For people who complain about smoking or non-smoking, this casino is doing it right! It is a great model to follow for those who have gone 100% one way or the other. The Provisions dining area is excellent with good quality and economical food choices. Marge's wild rice soup is amazing. The Stories Diner has an excellent design and a good choice of midday foods. We often dry-camp with our MH in the parking lot south of the Rival House. They have been very good about letting us do that at least five different times. How do you improve on an "almost" perfect rating? 1. Bring back the awesome buffet(s) of the past. Model them after Black Bear and you will do well. We used to enjoy dining here many years ago and would love to see it happen again. 2. The Rival House needs to be open more. This is a nice bar, but when we visit during the week, we can't go here as it is closed. Of our several visits, it was only open once and we really enjoyed that and would like to visit again. 3. Add stadium BJ and other stadium games. I'm surprised that a modern casino like this doesn't have these as they are very popular at other casinos around the US. I understand that #1 and #2 are related to labor challenges. But, again, Black Bear seems to be making it work in Cloquet. It can happen!!! :) We will be back again as this is one of our favorite "motorhoming" stops. :)"

"Had a blast here for about 5 hours! I only play slots and this casino has an excellent selection of all types, styles and ages of slot machines. Plenty to go around. Lots of great new ones with very fun bonuses.. bonuses within bonuses! Was even more fun because I had multiple nice wins. I only bet $1.00-$2.00 per spin so not a high roller… but had many $100+ wins…. Even hit a $757. win! Clean casino, nice staff, great beverage areas, clean bathrooms. The only complaint is the smoke from the “enclosed” smoking area does drift into the main casino area. Hopefully their HVAC contractor or maintenance staff can correct that, make it better. I’ll definitely be back soon!"
