"The area is very pretty and for the beginning of winter actually saw a bunch of wildlife including deer, squirrels, and many different types of birds including a bald eagle. Sadly the visitor center was closed when I went but still worth going for the cute trails around that area."

"Cool place with a nice visitor center and helpful staff. The North Country Trail system runs through the wildlife so there is good hiking. Also places to fish on lakes in the wildlife and and access to the Otter Tail river system. Also has a nice scenic wildlife drive. If you go at late June there is windows in bloom. Be prepared for bugs/dirt roads/bad cell service."
