"We stayed one night on our way through the area. We had a great end site which was spacious - Site 16E. Still, it was a little tricky getting our 36' fifth wheel in with low tree branches overhead. Nice little campground, well maintained, but a bit pricy for just electric. Water and dump are available on the way in/out. Campground was quiet, but you could hear train and traffic noise in the distance."
"Beautiful state park 30min from south Fargo. 7$ for one time admission, 35$ for an annual MN state parks pass. You can buy admission passes online so Iโd recommend doing that beforehand as it is a bit of a process."
"Come to this small park for the beautiful clear river which can only be described as babbling and meandering. On a hot day toes will definitely want to paddle. Other hiking trails pass through the prairie."
"A beautiful little prairie of a state park. If you're looking to complete the whole set, add this park to your "prairie park" list. It may not be the largest state park or have miles and miles of trails, but the quality far exceeds the quantity. This is a wonderful oasis of protected prairie lands and it pays dividends in the plethora of trees, grasses, plants, wildflowers, insects, and birds that thrive here. Chuck in the Buffalo River that meanders thru the park as a bonus for all you river aficionados out there and it's hard to beat or pass by without stopping."
"Peaceful campground in a beautiful setting. The sites are generous in size. Several hiking trails from the campground. The pleasant sound of a train can be heard in the distance. The staff at check-in was pleasant and knowledgeable of the sites in the area. The roads leading to the campground are well maintained and easily allow for trucks and trailers or large rigs to navigate."
