"A great metro area Campground. Plenty of shade trees, nice grass lawn, very quiet during our Sun-Fri stay. Great bike trails from the campground to Luce Line and Lake Independece trails. Restrooms were clean and modern. We will come back."

"Great campground with nice facilities. Lake, beach and lots of trails to walk and bike on. They also have 5 cabins that you can rent, with electricity, small screened in porch, fire pit, picnic table, lights and a ceiling fan. Lots of big RVs here too. They also rent bikes and sell firewood. Ohh I almost forgot..they sell ice cream where you check in."

"Very nice campground 20 mins west of the city. Mostly quiet and well cared for and very clean. Lots of sites so usually can find a spot. Buy wood is the most frustrating experience you'll ever have outside of calling CenturyLink."

"A very nice place to camp! The grounds are well cared for, sites have plenty of space so you are not right on top of your neighbors. There are fire pits and picnic tables at each site. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Staff patrolled the park day and night. They encourage people to call the police for noise complaints, so it was nice and quiet at night. We will definitely stay here again!"

"This place is a jem. Lots of trees, beautiful lake with a swimming area. Walking and biking trails and boat ramp/dock. They will loan you life preservers if you need them. We fell in love with this place. The spaces are nice and big. We have a 38 ft Class A and had no problem getting in with 2 slides. Your not on top of each other. Big open area between site. Put your reservation in early because it fills up fast. They only have 30/50 amps here. So fill up and dump before you come. That being said you can fill up here and dump. No extra charge. Such a neat place to stay."
