"Everyone go to SOUL Ballroom! My fiance and I took the intro lesson and then 2 hours lesson with Igor and it was so much fun! He choreographed a really awesome dance and worked to make it "us" and gave us a ton of tips for our day. I highly recommend taking dance lessons with your significant other prior to your wedding as we feel much more comfortable dancing together now and it was a fun to do something together to prep for our big day!"
"Absolutely wonderful and welcoming instructors and space! I was nervous to show up for my first group lesson without a partner but there wasn't a moment throughout the lesson that I felt out of place even though others were there with partners. Josh was the instructor and was so helpful and kind throughout. Igor, the owner, was so kind to answer all of my seemingly silly questions via email before I got started with so much attention and care. Additionally, Steve, the director, introduced himself and gave me a tour when I showed up. The individuals who make up Soul Ballroom clearly and genuinely are not only are passionate about dance but about every individual who walks into their door. I assure you that if you are at all interested in taking lessons (whether you are a beginner like me or are advanced), you will feel comfortable, not judged, and welcomed the minute you set foot into the space. "Johanna was our instructor and helped us learn a beautiful dance for our wedding. We came in with no experience but the space was welcoming and relaxed which kept it fun especially at such high stress times leading up to the wedding. Johanna was flexible and accommodating with our schedules and a joy to work with! The owner Igor is very talented and was always very helpful in pointing out great tips when noticing things in our lessons. Definitely recommend!"

After asking about our prior experience and goals for the lesson Igor was able to teach us the fundamentals of ball room dancing. The technique, the rhythm and some moves like spins and twirls.
