Lil' Explorers Childcare Center

"WARNING...Keep your kids away from this center! We caught staff screaming at the kids, including ours. They then decided to end care for us when we reported it to the Director of the center. Police report on file. (we had plans to never return after this anyway) I had to initiate asthma training. They signaled out our child on a field trip because "he was to active" and I found out from a photo in the app (he was not in the photo and I had to call the center to find out why). Honestly, this list goes on."

"Without giving too much info about a specific room or teacher (for safety purposes) we've had a very positive experience with Lil' Explorers. The child we have at this facility has special needs, and an individual care plan, and the teachers and staff as a whole is SO accommodating. The facility is clean, secure, with lots of windows. Highly recommend"

"We have only had a tour of the building and loved it!"

"Visited this place earlier this year and they clearly forgot we had a tour setup. On top of that, when we said we were looking to start in January both employees present at the time visibly scoffed and laughed at the notion they’d have an opening then. The tour lasted all of 5 minutes and when we asked the person giving us a tour what the next steps were to get on the waiting list they told us to wait until it’s closer to when we want to enroll (?!). We only were able to get the correct info on next steps for the waiting list once we met with the supervisor. We decided to apply and provided a deposit of $359 primarily because of the lower price, but recently we ended up finding something closer to our home and so I called to cancel our application yesterday. They informed me that the deposit is non-refundable which was stated on the application. They are pocketing $359 of our money without our daughter stepping foot in that place, but the bigger issue I have with this policy is that I was giving nearly FIVE months notice in advance of our start date that we were cancelling our application. Be warned that this place is part of a corporation with capitalistic practices and policies. The staff, including the supervisor, were suspect from the start, and even though you pay less here you certainly get what you pay for."

"We have had our daughter enrolled at the Plymouth Location since it opened. The center is always clean and organized. The teachers are great. It's fun watching our daughter grow up and move to new class rooms and dealing with all the different staff. I am amazed everyday when she gets home with all the new things she learned that day. Its wonderful to see how Nicole (the director) is with all the Children and Staff and wants them to all flourish!!"
