"Buyer beware of the fish/snails. This will be my second trip back to return freshwater fish not sure if the snails I bought are dead or alive since they still won't come out of their shells. My tank was crystal clear and the fish that were in it were happy and healthy. First round of fish: half died within a few hours the rest dies the next day. After that batch of fish my tank is now cloudy as ever. Can't even see the bubbler. Got new fish from them one dies almost immediately after it gets in the tank 4 more die within a few hours and I'm not holding any hope for the other 3 that are in there. Mind you when I got there to return the fish cashier basically said it was all my fault. I didn't acclimated them right. My water is too toxic. Sorry but no YOUR FISH made it toxic. My tank was doing just fine until that first round of fish. I did the whole float them on top of the water wait 15min then add water did that for an hour to make sure those first fish will live. But I did it the way she said to do it wait 15min put water in then wait 15min and that's it. Still all dead. Now I'm hoping to just get my money back and wait a month or two for my tank to get clear again, to get fish from petsmart. Those almost never die. In fact the only fish that has lived through all of this is the fish that was happy and healthy to begin with and I got him at petsmart. Edit: well they didn't return any of the fish a second time. And I get educated AFTER I buy fish and returned them that "you shouldn't have bought so many". Maybe educate your staff on how to ask questions and what to suggest for that tank. I'm done with petco. And yes I have bought that many fish with no trouble at petsmart! So SO DONE WITH THIS STORE!!!!"

"Nice store. They seem to have a large variety of things. They have some live pets that you can purchase and all the things to go with the pet. I was there to buy a gift card but walked around and saw pet food, toys, kennels etc. Staff was very nice. Would go back if I owned a pet."

"Store is an average Petco nothing to talk bad about. Now in terms of employee engagement with customers that’s where I find the customer experience to be poor. I place orders online many times and for long periods of times the orders are not picked, no big deal if I’m in the area I’ll swing by pick the items and most of the time the employees will scan it picked and received for me, but half the time the other set of employees make no effort to accommodate the customer and simply say sorry we’ll reach out when it’s ready for pickup and offer the customer with no option or call their supervisor to check the system to see if they can scan it picked to give it to the customer while their in the store specially when the store is empty. Not a huge deal but theirs no consistency with how employees treat customers then two minutes after I was turned down for the pick up of the items I was sent an email that my items were ready for pickup? Really you couldn’t do it while the customer was in the empty store and at the register and the customer had the items in hand to be scanned picked ?"

"Wanted to give a shout-out to the lady who helped me and my boyfriend get all of the necessities for our new Chameleon! She went above and beyond helping us out and I think our new little guy loves his set up so far! He’s been exploring a ton and already eating. According the the receipt Rachel was her name. (She manages the reptile department I believe). She’s absolutely awesome and if you plan on getting a new reptile I highly highly recommend talking to her first."
