"I’m in great hands with Dr. Suba! He genuinely cares about how I’m doing. Even in emergency situations I can count on him and his staff. They’re consistent, knowledgeable and reassuring. I will continue to trust him with my mental health journey. Needless to say, I definitely recommend!"
"Doctor Suba is a wonderful psychiatrist. I have seen many doctors for my mental health over the last 20 years. He takes time to listen and cares for his patient's well-being. He did not make assumptions based solely on my history but gave me a thorough evaluation. He diagnosed me at age 36 with a new diagnosis. This diagnosis has been life-changing and life-giving. I 100% recommend Dr Suba."
"Summary: Dr. Suba and every person I have met on his staff have been wonderful. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I just turned 37 and I have several brain diseases including severe, advanced progressive MS, transverse myelitis and inter cranial hypertension. He took a thorough history and has followed me very closely. If I could give them 100 stars I would. No only has he helped my anxiety/ocd/panic, he has helped some of my Ms symptoms (vertigo, lhermitte's, spams, spasticity, trigeminal neuralgia, insomnia I had bc of the Ms symptoms). Read more for more in-depth, or just trust me on the summary! Lol! I went to his office completely hopeless that anyone could help me. I truly thought I was a lost cause and not able to be helped. I had asked my Ms psychologist if some people just can't be treated and have to suffer their entire lives. I was doing 3 hours of self mental health help (DNRS, CBT, OCD app, and meditation) per day and therapy weekly and just getting worse as my disease is progressing. My disease is so bad there was no amount of therapies that could help me. I still am doing them just not as long each day bc I'm more under control. I had seen several other psychs and they didn't understand brain disease, not one of them except Subas office was even interested in my medical history. I would try to explain to them my brain doesn't react to medications like others and I would have severe, scary side effects when they would try me on meds, luckily I would only take very small doses of the meds and stop them. But when I would call for help they would book me a month out. Or one of them said to me "when a patient has side effects it bc they convince themselves they are having them." Dr. Subas office was my last ditch effort, I was convinced Pyschatrist didn't care about people like me. I was ready to give up. The financial and time burden of going to fruitless appts, esp when I can't drive anymore, was taking a toll. I wheeled myself into Dr. Subas office beat down, had just had my first infusion for my disease which had turned my world upside down. And was greeted by one of his students. Which are top notch as well. He compassionately listened to me while I was sobbing. I did not have depression until my infusions, but I did have severe anxiety, panic and ocd that worsens as my disease worsen bc of inflammation/lesions in my brain. My infusion was causing me severe depression for 10-14 days afterwards. Dr. Suba came in and he is very funny. Which is what works best for my personality type. He listened, and like his student was incredibly smart. Just little things, like taking notice I have IIH and I shouldn't be on some meds bc of that. Dr. Suba himself is very compassionate and had sympathy for me. By the time I left we were bantering back and forth and I felt peace. I wasn't even on meds yet. But the biggest thing is he and his staff gave me the courage to try to seek meds to help me. The first med mixed with my infusion and an ms flare was a disaster. But when I called they got me right in, listened to me, BELIEVED me, changed meds to help me. We recently added a new med I was extremely apprehensive to try (I'm apprehensive about all of them, I have a legitimate phobia of meds bc of the reactions I have.) But again, they gave me the courage to try the med and I took it without hesitation and am about to increase the dose per his orders. When I feel apprehensive I tell myself "I choose to trust him bc he wants what's best for me." And even tho some of the meds have failed me he and his staff have not and have made this process way less scary than it was. We are still working out what exactly I need, and my body is adjusting to meds, it's esp hard with my ever changing brain, but I do feel much better most days. My infusions throw me for a loop but we are working on the right med combo to take that loop away or make it easier to deal with. I truly do not think I would still be on this earth if it weren't for Dr. Suba and his team. Thank you all. Tasha."
"My PCP referred me to Dr Suba when I was dealing with other health issues. It was the only thing they ever did right. I’ve been under his care going on four years, I’ve seen other Physicians in his absence but respectfully I only trust him. I’m thankful for he and his staff. He’s the best and diagnosing and truly caring for his patients. The hardest thing to find in Vegas is a great Physician with a caring staff. They’re remarkable and they respect, care, and understand their patients."
"Dr. Suba and his wife are awesome! I have never felt like my psychiatrist truly cared about me until meeting Dr. Suba. He has very deep insight on a variety of medications, and hits the nail on the head with dosage, all around a great experience."
