"The office NEVER answers the phone. I had to get 2 referrals for my child, 1 for audiology for hearing test and 1 for ENT to go over results. I have been waiting for over a month! I called originally and was told that they were sending referrals over to scheduling department. I called today, February 21st, and was told that my referrals were CANCELLED!!! How does referrals get cancelled when I have not bee able to use them???? So they send me to referrals AGAIN and all I am getting is voicemail!! THEY NEVER CHECK THEIR VOICEMAILS! This is the WORST customer care I HAVE EVER SEEN! I am a UNLV Student and this is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and the school PREACHES about being professional and they cannot get their staff and interns to do proper patient care????"
"I had a serious issue with my ears and my doctor sent in a referral on Wednesday. Called first thing Friday morning to schedule an appointment and was told the referral hadn’t been touched yet and that it would take 24 hours to process, and I would need to wait until Monday before I could call and schedule. I called first thing Monday morning and no one answered. I continued to call throughout the day and every single time was left on hold until I had to leave a message, which has still not been returned a week later and still no one is picking up the phone."
"Getting a call back from these people is impossible. This is my second time having to deal with them as my first son also had a referral to see the audiology dept here. It took a year to get in. It took 4 months of back and forth calling and them saying they didn’t get the referral, my calling our pediatrician and having it sent again, calling and leaving voicemails, being told they didn’t receive the referral again, so on and so forth. Once I did actually speak to someone they told me they didn’t have any appts for 8 months. SERIOUSLY. When we finally went to the appt and told them how hard it was to get in for an appt they seemed surprised. Now into my second son. I have been calling for over a month leaving voicemails and haven’t heard back once. From anyone. What does it take to get someone to call me back from this place. I wouldn’t recommend the headache and the health of your child by going here."
"I was scheduled to have a sinus surgery I desperately needed. They wanted lab work first, so they said to go to LabCorp to get it and that they would send the lab order to them and that they would have it within a few business days. Sure enough, LabCorp said they never got it. I called repeatedly and they promised they would fax it “immediately.” I went to the lab in person the day right before my surgery, and they STILL didn’t have it. After LabCorp called them directly on my behalf basically yelling at them to fax it because their patient has been waiting for an hour, THEN they finally faxed it over to them at 4:59PM, just one minute before the lab closed. I was extremely lucky the lab was nice enough to still take my bloodwork the last second, or God knows if I would’ve ever gotten that surgery. I did end up getting the surgery, the Dr was great but that was the last time I ever went to UNLV ENT, and just switched to a different office. Massive waste of time for multiple people due to the extreme incompetence of some office staff they have."
"We were referred to UNLV ENT by my daughter’s pediatrician. I called a couple days after the referral was sent, and was told they never received the referral in the first place. My daughter’s pediatrician faxed the referral over again, I called again and was told they received the referral this time. They said the referral team needs to process it and I would receive a call back by Wednesday at the latest(it was Monday when I originally called). Thursday roles around and I never received a call by Wednesday like I was supposed to, so I called and left a voicemail. Never received a call back, so I tried calling again Friday afternoon and left yet another voicemail. Monday comes and I still didn’t receive a call back, so I called again and left yet another voicemail. No one returned my call, so I called again on Tuesday. This time someone answered the phone. I explained I was supposed to receive a call back from the referral team last week by Wednesday didn’t get a call, and I’ve left several voicemails after that and still no one returns my call. The woman I spoke with told me they never received the referral! So I asked her why did they tell me on Monday they did receive the referral after the pediatrician faxed it over for the second time? And why couldn’t anyone return my call for the 3 or more voicemails I left explaining this? All she could do was apologize, and say someone should have called. Yes someone should have called, and so she basically is telling me whoever I spoke to originally who said they received the referral lied?!? This provider is a joke and clearly doesn’t have any compassion or professionalism. I took my daughter elsewhere, because after the horrible experience I had just trying to schedule an appointment there was no way I would allow them to be a provider for my daughter. I wouldn’t refer this company to anyone! There are plenty of other reliable ENT’s in Vegas, and if I could give zero stars I absolutely would!!"
