Cmg + Plus Walk-In Clinic

"This review is specifically for a nurse named Kelly Fluit and another middle aged nurse with blonde short hair who we did not get the name of(Maybe Lynnette?). The rest of the staff were very nice including the woman who took blood pressure, the front office girl and a woman who took my wife’s Covid test. The two nurses who were previously mentioned were very arrogant and do not listen to the patients. They will instead talk over you and will barely let you get a word in. If you are able to get a word in and ask questions they get impatient because they want you to take their word like it is law and do not respond well to questions. I was told sarcastically by Kelly that I’m sorry I was able to get an antibiotic for my chest and sinus infection in Mexico where we were vacationing, but we follow the science here. Seriously? You’re gonna give attitude all because I mentioned I was sick a week before my wife and was put on an antibiotic in Mexico and got better? So she wanted to do a Covid test which came back negative. After that Kelly said since it came back negative we’ll give you 3 more days (to basically suffer. My wife has been sick already for 4 days) with your sinus and chest congestion and then you can come back and we’ll look into prescribing an antibiotic. She then just leaves abruptly while my wife and I still had more questions. Like okay, since it’s not Covid then what is it? Is it flu? Cold? Is it even viral or bacterial? After telling the front office lady that Kelly just left and we still had more questions we were greeted by a new nurse (Lynnette?) who was given the rundown from Kelly and were told Kelly isn’t going to see us again. So this other nurse told us the same stuff Kelly had said and would not listen to us and our concerns or the questions we had. We just had to basically go off of their guess-timates that it’s probably a viral infection, (Kelly in the beginning was so confident that it was Covid) and was told to just come back a few days later if symptoms didn’t improve and THEN they’ll prescribe something. Horrible care by these two nurses. Fortunately my wife’s main physician who works in the same medical facility but not the walk in clinic called her and said she would prescribe something. She listened to my wife and I on the phone and was attentive. I also had my main physician there Anna Torris who was willing to also see my wife asap. So I do thank and appreciate the rest of the team who was wanting to help. But avoid Kelly and the other nurse (possibly Lynnette?) if at all possible."

"I was in and out pretty fast. They tested for both flu and covid but the nurse didn't really" sweep" my nose for mucus like I have had done all times prior, so of course both came back negative. The aprn asked if I felt I wanted medication for my cough, which felt a bit unprofessional"

"Not feeling well for some time, knowing it would take months to see provider, went to CMG+ on Fri afternoon. Provider on duty was David LYONS! What luck, the best provider at CMG (having visited more than a few). David diagnosed my problem, suggested OTC meds and ordered xray. I left office feeling better already; having seen a professional who takes interest in the whole patient. Too bad there aren't more "provider David's" at CMG!!"

"Every single staff and Medical Professional we have had the pleasure of dealing with here......every single one have treated us stupendously. Their bedside manner is exquisite. Their customer service above par. The level of professionalism is perfect. We have been in a few medical practices in the area and have been left with a bad taste because the staff loudly gossip about the patients and openly express their negative/derogatory opinions within hearing distance of said patients........who are only there to recieve medical care.......I am HAPPY to announce that is NOT THE CASE HERE. This is next level care, and very quick as well. No having to wait an hour or more just to be given subpar generic speed care.....the Doctors actually LISTEN to you when you speak about why you are there. They explain the course of care and medications given and why. They take the time to interact with the kid patients too. It's AWESOME"

"My family has been with carson medical group for almost 15 years and the cmg plus is a joke. The receptionists are rude as well as the PAC. I love our pediatrician but to let a paitent sit out there in 102 degree weather for over a hour and say you have to stay and it will probably be another hour in a room. No thank ill take my insurance and kids else where."
