"Dr. Johnson is the only vet we have taken our cat to. Our cat is 23 + yo. Dr. Johnson is very loving and kind. She is also the only vet we have taken our dog to. Unfortunately, Our little dog Joey, Got out of the house and was hit by a car. Just a few weeks ago."
"LOVE this place! I have finally found the best place to care for my fur babies! Excellent in every way! They spend the time to check out your pet from top to bottom! Very gentle & caring! I walked out with complete confidence that my 13 year old is going to be ok!"
"If my pet was still alive, I would never take her here again. Unfortunately, my best friend has passed less than 2 months after her last visit and it would be foolish to believe it wasn't related. I took her in for a wellness check and was told everything was fine, but needed to bring her in for a teeth-cleaning. The tech lady named Chelsea was all smiles in person, but when she called me around noon it was in a different tone like she was trying to rush me into making a decision. She called telling me that my cat needed a tooth extraction and when inquiring on the price, she didn't present it clearly so I got confused. Then, she got agitated with me and snapped at me asking, "Can we do the extraction or not? She's under anesthesia!" which caused me to make a decision I wasn't ready to make. Due to her lack of ethics, she shouldn't be calling me while my cat is under anesthesia when she promised to call ahead of time so we can have time to decide. This woman lost her patience with me on the phone and I was extremely dissappointed that she had my cat in her possession while sounding aggressive towards me over the phone over the price she didn't present clearly to me. She tripped at me over the phone, and then apologized. So, I kindly accepted her apology and picked up my cat later on that day. However, my precious cat never recovered from her extraction and never went back to eating normally! She just started getting weaker and weaker by the day, so I brought her in to another place to get a second opinion and it was grave news...my cat was having renal failure and I needed to bring her to the emergency pet hospital, immediately. She stayed overnight and tests revealed she had a blockage in her urethra. I don't know how that could've happened to her when she was so healthy. It had to have been something done to her from her cleaning exam. Sadly, my precious cat was only 10 years old when she passed. I rescued her from a shelter when she was 5, and we became best friends. I wish I never went to this place to have her work on my cat. The enclosed pictures of my cat are when she was healthy and when she passed away. They offered to euthanize her for no charge, but I decided to let her pass in a more loving environment like home. Now, I have a $4,500 medical payment to cover due to this which happened right after the cleaning/extraction. She changed my life, and now she's gone. No thanks to American Pet Hospital. I feel like they got away with killing my cat."
"Don't recommend! I came here last minute due to my dog having unknown heart complications; She passed out in front of me. I was desperate to find a place that could take her last minute. Her usual vet was booked out. Each time I went back to this clinic, I was told to follow up with more blood work, tweak her dosage amount with additional tests, etc., etc. The medication offered is extremely overpriced, although not unusual for a hospital. I went through Costco ($50 difference). I was recommended cough medication that had no affect or change. After I wasn't buying their medications within 1 month, the same blood test was increased by $20 with no explanation. Clearly, the office staff is making up numbers. The payment collector couldn't be bothered to make eye contact and with a smirk, "yea, we raise it" when she was collecting my payment as she was too busy engaging in small talk with her co-worker. Every encounter with the back office staff has been unprofessional and rude. After three months of dealing with them, I can get better quality care elsewhere."
"This is an excellent place. They always make me feel comfortable and definitely my pet too. My dog is a little skittish, but all staff and drs, we're super. Very clean and modern inside. I highly recommend this business"
