"We moved to Las Vegas when my child was 2.5. In the prime of toddler emotional outbursts, lack of self regulation, and a huge life change, he needed a stable and secure environment for daycare/preschool… we were very disappointed with the first facility we found (not Merryhill!) After a few stressful weeks, we made the decision to uproot him again and transition him to Merryhill Preschool Centennial Hills. I was nervous to move him again after just moving across the country, but it’s been the absolute best choice we made! He’s so happy, he LOVES his teachers, he runs into his classroom excited to see his friends every day. The communication is wonderful, the staff is amazing, and my child is thriving! I am so happy we found this school."
"Our twin three year olds absolutely love to go to school at Merryhill! It feels so good to watch them run in and greet their teachers, so excited for the day. Ms. Bradley and Mr. Davis are absolutely amazing! I am so impressed with their communication and care for our children. We feel so lucky that our girls love and want to see their teachers every day. The leaps these girls have made in just 4 months is truly impressive and I know it’s due to their caring teachers."
"I have too many great things to say about this school. My daughter started going to Merryhill at just 6 months old and is now almost 2 in the beginners room. I have wonderful things to say about all three rooms. Baby room: Instantly in the baby room I was shocked at how quick my daughter had picked up using sign language to ask for what she wanted. She loved being there, which made it easy to leave her. I had extreme separation anxiety for a long time, but the daily pictures and the love her teachers had for her made it better. Toddler room: The toddler room was WONDERFUL. My daughter fell in love with her teacher Mrs. Regina and she loved her back. That was very clear by their connection. She began to learn more and more everyday. Animals, animal noises, colors, counting. She was speaking so well and learning so much. People would constantly tell me how smart she was and I couldn't help but contribute her intelligence to Merryhill. Beginners: We recently began beginners and I have already been very impressed. She is even working on potty training and she isn't even 2 years old yet. Her teachers are amazing. They are great with teaching manners and good habits. She really bonded with her teacher Miss Sarah, who is wonderful to her! I could say a lot more about this school. It is the absolute best in this area and I am so lucky that we found this perfect match for my daughter."
"My son went to school here for three weeks and cried when we dropped him off and when we picked him up (tears from happiness because he was being rescued from school) almost every single day. He had severe separation anxiety once we realized this "school" was not a good fit. His personality changed and he was no longer bubbly and happy. He went to school in South Korea prior to Merryhill so he is familiar with being in a learning environment and being away from both parents. Almost every picture that was sent to me, he looked sad, depressed and melancholy. His craft work was depressing. It wasn't colorful and didn't look very engaging. When my husband and I would come early to pick him up he would be sitting in the corner (outdoors or indoors) looking very depressed, sad and lonely. For the amount of money this school charges, we were extremely disappointed in the result. I was very misled thinking this was more of a school. It was not. It was more of a daycare making sure our child is breathing throughout the day, which is something I can do at home. He didn't connect with any of his teachers. The classroom he was in wasn't colorful and didn't have very many things to keep the kids occupied. This observation was noticed in hindsight. When my husband and I would come visit we would see other kids being ignored while teachers were cleaning or tending to other non-child related business. I can't believe this school charged us $1,200 a month. I voiced my concerns to his teachers and the principal. I didn't see much of a change and this is why we pulled him out sooner than later. Awful "school." My son just started going to a Jewish school in Summerlin and didn't even cry on his first day. Huge difference from his current school and Merryhill. I highly recommend *not* enrolling your child at Merryhill Grand Teton."
"Merryhill Grand Teton was Matthew's first experience at school. He started at 18 months old. His teachers, Mrs. Zelez and Mrs. Sterling are the best teachers!! They made his first experience a positive one! They are very caring and loving. My son had a difficult time at first because he was not used to being left with anyone other than family but his teachers just embraced and loved him and it did not take him long to adjust. My son loved his teachers. I want to thank them for everything they did for Matthew. I knew he was in good hands when I was at work. If there was ever a concern, they always contacted me. The communication at Merryhill is great!! The office staff is very helpful and friendly. My son, Matthew even asks me to go to school on weekends. He is more confident in himself since he started school. He has learned to make friends, share, count, sing his ABC's, problem solve and express his feelings. The principal, Mrs. Oksaski goes above and beyond. She is very helpful and easy to talk to.I can not say enough good things about this school. He has received a great education so far and will continue at Merryhill next year. Thank you Mrs. Zelez and Mrs. Sterling, we will all miss you next year!!!!!"
