"Straight to the point... Our car is in the shop, and I needed food for my sweet cocktail, Buddy... We ordered the food from Petsmart, online, and paid $20.16 for a small bag of food, including a $5 tip, since being same day delivery. It arrived, torn at the seam, and the seed was spilling out, and only God knows what got into it since the hole originated... We call customer service... They promise a new bag would be delivered within an hour... an hour came and went... nothing. A message comes in stating the order was canceled?!! So we call back. They inform us that they have no history in their system. They end up refunding the charge, asking us to reorder it again. The refund takes days to reflect, no big surprise, so I drain my account another twenty bucks to accommodate their error and feed our bird... The order states that delivery would come this evening, between 6 and 8pm... so we pay for it, again... and suddenly the info changes to say it will arrive by 9pm tomorrow night?! Literally - what kind of insulting game is this?! Luckily, we took a picture! So we're on the phone again... the rep tells us to call back in an hour after blaming it on Doordash not finding the order in their system. I'm still wondering why Petsmart refuses to take any accountability regarding orders placed on their website!!! Long story short, Petsmart has yet to resolved the problem, wasted our time (each of the calls took over 20 minutes, just waiting on hold), sent us in a frustration of circles without reason, and ultimately, bottom line is our bird is still hungry. This is poor customer service while overpriced while apparently using an outsourced delivery company. To top this, worst of all, they are clearly lacking any concern for our pets, given the circumstance. What happened to pay on delivery??? Lately we get overcharged for products that rarely reflect as accurately advertised. Items often come in poor condition, arrive late, broken, incorrect, or not as intended. Quality assurance seems to be obsolete lately, and there's never anyone who knows how to fix it. Basically we have no other choice but to deal with it... It's wrong. If designed instead to pay upon delivery, like past time, back when things made sense... then people could be held more accountable and earn what they work for while standing by it. Delivery is common place in today's world. Let's begin taking a bit more pride in what we do, and how we do it. Quality assurance might be better implemented when you give a 5%#/*... Petsmart, based on your work ethic, as they were experienced today, your 1 star rating was a generous offer after such deplorable conduct in handling business affairs with decent customers. This started at 7am, WE are the ones who still must call THEM back, again, with a prayer for resolve... this is somewhat backwards, am I right? We've already paid twice! Just awful."
"I will never buy fish from petsmart again… second time I’ve gotten fish here and they’ve all died the same day. Spent over $100 in this store on Glofish/NeonTetras just to have every single fish die one by one on the same day. They sale sick fish and mind you, this tank was properly cycled for several week’s before I added fish. Do better?"
