"My kids had fun kayaking on the 4-mile trip from the kayak park back down to the campground. We basically had the place to ourselves since it was a weekday. The favorite part for my kids was exploring the old buildings. We had campsite #19; it was so pretty and right on the water. The two staffers we met were very friendly and informative. The only con I had was the porta-potty (there was a bathhouse with bathrooms and showers, but the porta-potty is closest to the camp); there was a group of wasps inside and the toilet paper rolls were on the floor with the blue chemicals on them. The bathhouses by the office were super clean. We would definitely come here again."
"My husband and I did a tandem kayak for the 4 mile float. The staff was great and we had a blast! Would definitely recommend asking the staff about places to stop along the way and things to watch for! The camp itself could use some TLC but we had a blast!"
"I am from Michigan and visit NW AR at least twice a year for hiking and kayaking. Gypsy canoe is the BEST livery! They are all friendly and treat me like family! Also behind the scenes they are committed to preserving and maintaining the river and to keep it beautiful!"
"I LOVE gypsy!!! Such amazing owner and staff. I always have a great time and HIGHLY recommend it. I have been going for several years and will continue!"
"I have stayed at this place a few times. Mainly for photo opportunities and I taught a night class for novices and I absolutely love the area. The camp itself is very nicely maintained and the owner was super nice. The staff was always polite and helpful. I love the fact the camp is very closer to Siloam Springs if you need things. The buildings are so neat and fun to explore. One day I hope to return and actually float the river."
