"I heard about Berd Spokes about a year ago and was intrigued by the reinvention of the spoke with something lighter/stronger than steel. Always looking for the next cool thing, I decided to have my older set (circa 2010) of Hed Jet 4 wheels rebuilt with with the Berd spokes and they have not disappointed! The wheels spin up faster than ever, look fantastic and I feel like they even dampen some of the road vibration/bumps better than my old school spokes ever did. I have put several hundred miles on them thus far and have nothing but praise for the spokes and my interaction with the company. The rebuilt wheels feel brand new again at a fraction of the cost of a new set. The hand build really is noticeable in how they roll compared to where they were at prior to replacement.
