"Unique and amazing breakfast options. I was a little worried about chicken fried pork belly. I thought it could be chewy. Nope. It was amazing and tender. The gravy thick and yummy. The biscuit soft. All wonderful. The coffee was good. The service was good. The classic breakfast was also just right."
"Not sure what else to say except wow. We heard great things about Maggie’s from a friend who lives in Tahoe and since our hotel was super close, we decided to come for drinks one night before dinner. After our long weekend trip we ended up going to Maggie’s 4 times because it was that amazing! — better than Cafe Fiore any day! The service was fantastic, food was amazing, drinks were delicious (very strong too!), and the overall experience was just exceptional! Next time we visit, we will definitely be staying at The Desolation Hotel and moving into Maggie’s!"
"Great dinner with kids. We liked the octopus, scallops, venison, and the salads. Very modern decor and friendly service. We did not have reservation but was seated quickly. The service was wonderful without being too intrusive."
"Great little spot to grab some top notch food. It's expensive. Corking fee is $15 if you want to bring your own bottles. Atmosphere is nice, but it gets a bit loud at times."
"Cool little spot located in a modern hotel. Very fancy vibe but at mid-level pricing. My wife had the Maggie's Beni, and it was damn good. I had the Chicken Fried Pork Belly. It was interesting to say the least. The pork belly was under seasoned, and the biscuits were way over seasoned. So when you ate both together, it was fine, but eaten separately it wasn't enjoyable. Would be perfect if they balanced out the seasoning on both. Also needs more of that delicious gravy. Definitely try this spot out if you're in the neighborhood!"
