"I moved here in the middle of September 2023. I was very excited to move here but it has been a horrible experience since day one. I just read all the reviews and I have experienced the same issues all other tenants are having. The doors are horrible with huge gaps where you can see light. I keep wondering what’s coming in as they are big enough for a rodent to get in easily. The unit upstairs had a leak in their pipes and it came through my garage causing mold to grow on the walls and ceiling. It’s been since November 2023 and still cannot get any management to take it seriously enough to fix it. The apartments are cheap and the workmanship is very sloppy. There is splatters of paint on sidewalks, driveways and on your private patio. Clothes dryers don’t work properly, cracks in bathroom shower, cabinets. The back wall and ceiling in my kitchen was never painted. They totally over looked it. I also am charged an extra $25 per month for renters insurance when I have proved it to them three times that I had my own. I can go on and on. I don’t have the energy or time to move again. This whole experience has been a nightmare."
"I was really excited to move into the Livery when we first came and saw it. We moved in on 11/17 and immediately ran into just about every single issue that is listed in other reviews plus more (light bulbs going out, doors not sanded, poor cleaning job before move in, damage to walls/door frames etc). First, we had no hot water for the first 4 days. We told management more than once and they finally came and fixed it. We were told the plumbing was routed incorrectly (hot is cold and cold is hot). Our dryer kept tripping the breaker. Maintenance came and looked and the dryer vent was never attached. Our brand new dishwasher went out shortly after we moved in because it needed a new wing nut. On day 1, our toilets were backed up and were spraying water when flushed. Luckily, a member of senior management was there when we went to the office because we were initially told it would be a few days until this was solved but the senior manager stepped in and said it was backup in our building that needed to be solved immediately. We are consistently being charged the $25 renters insurance fee when I’ve shown my renters insurance declarations page several times. I was also charged an account set up fee again after paying it initially upon move in. This past weekend (1/13/2024) our heat went out in our apartment and it’s currently -6 degrees. The maintenance supervisor, Brian, has been extremely helpful in solving our issues. He is treading water at this point as there are only a handful of maintenance workers for the entire complex so I had to wait until today (1/16/2024) to get my heat back on. Oh and we don’t have screens on our windows still after being reported immediately in November. I’m sure there is more to come but for now, I would encourage management to send construction back through “completed” units and fix what was missed. If you made it through this entire review, do yourself a favor and look anywhere else. The livery modern apartments has potential but right now is simply inadequate and uninhabitable."
"Pretty disappointed with our experience here. These units were rushed to completion, with little thought for the quality-of-life of the tenants. If you’re considering moving here, here’s some things to keep in mind: 1. The management company was switched only a few months after the buildings were completed 2. The initial management staff, as well as the maintenance team, have both left. 3. The new management company has flown out people to try and save face. People from RPM living have left 5 star reviews for this complex just to try and help their ratings, even though they do not live here. This is an obvious conflict of interest. They should be letting the reviews reflect the feelings of their customers. As I write this, I’m looking at the light peeking in from the front door, which lacks decent weather stripping :) I suggest reading the other reviews here from actual tenants, and then make your own decision. Good luck"
"Our family feels obliged to enter an honest review since several recent 5-start ones sound identical and AI generated. Regardless, it's gratifying to see others being honest about their experiences here. We moved into The Livery in late summer. The unit wasn't cleaned at all (drywall & screws everywhere); the fridge was broken & leaking; transitions weren't installed properly; the internal doors weren't sanded on the edges; the external doors lacked weather stripping; the door frame around the bathroom closet wasn't installed properly so there's an inch gap between it and the wall; and all the bathroom sinks leaked underneath. We fixed most of these issues ourselves with our own time and money. Fast forward only a few short months and the bedroom window leaks - badly - whenever it rains; it's been two months since we notified the office and because it's "under warranty", no one has come to fix it. The shower in the master bath was not caulked at the bottom so the grouting cracked and began molding; the ceiling fan in the master bedroom was installed with teeny weeny screws and gradually started making unnerving grinding noises; the dishwasher has a visible dent in the front from when it was installed; the bottom of the bathtub is chipped; the shelves in the pantry were painted for no discernible reason, which instantly peels in strips when you try to remove a food item because the paint is weirdly sticky....The list goes on and on. The property management company changed abruptly from Garret Co. to RPM within a week of us moving; the maintenance man quit very quickly thereafter, followed by the property manager. Now they have sent in corporate fixers to try to save the property. All around, our experience at The Livery has been extremely frustrating and disappointing and we would personally advise potential renters to look elsewhere."
