Red 20 Apartments

"Where to start? Maintenance crew was great, they did their job and they were pleasant to talk to. Management? Completely inflexible and condescending. They raised my rent higher after a lease renewal than what they were advertising online for an identical unit. When I caught them in this deceptive practice they backtracked and tried to gas light me even when I showed them screenshots. They frequently charged a renter insurance fee even though I provided them proof of my renter insurance (no exaggeration here, eight times over a 2 year lease.) I always got them to refund it, but their payment portal (which they keep changing systems) is the worst. It's glitchy, doesn't allow you to make separate payments when you have a roommate, and often not accurate. I had to audit management on their math numerous times. They had everyone evacuate their parking spots and offered no refund for that day we paid for. Don't forget the fees, always hidden fees, everywhere, even a "move out" fee to file your paperwork, ridiculous. The amenities are not as advertised and they frequently reduce available amenities as the lease goes on. E.G. they will offer a 24/7 coffee bar, then close the coffee bar during certain hours. They used to offer disposable "to-go" cups, creamers, etc, but could never keep them stocked, then removed them because they are "going green" (they are actually going cheap). Dog feces everywhere, urine in the stairwells. They said they de-odorize the dog area monthly, but they never enforced their poo-prints program that they take the DNA of your dog for. Nasty trash room, blood on elevator buttons, no soap in the bathrooms. I FOUND A USED NEEDLE IN A PAINTING AND IT WAS THERE FOR OVER A YEAR. Constant interruptions by management. I would say management would schedule a fire alarm test, HVAC inspection, installation of "smart" locks and other monitoring devices nearly every month. I cannot recall a time where they did not have to enter my apartment for some reason. They do not work with your schedule at all (due to the scope of the project is their usual excuse). And the place is so cheaply built. I could literally press my finger into the wood trim and make a dent. Maintenance regularly would joke with me how crummy the quality of this place was. They know! I could go on, but seriously, for the price you pay for this place is way higher than they should be getting. I moved to another place in Minneapolis and I never been happier."

"Red 20 made moving in, living, and moving out very easy and enjoyable. You could tell that the staff actually cared. They were very helpful and kind during my stay there, and I would definitely recommend. Connor was great during the whole process, and was easily reached when I needed something. Not every apartment building has staff like Red 20. Thank you guys!"

"I started my search for an apartment and toured Red20 Apartments over the weekend. Let's just say I hope there is an opening when I plan to sign a lease. This place is absolutely amazing... it felt like home right when I walked in. Connor gave me my tour, and he was the best leasing agent I have ever dealt with. He is super energetic, very detailed and professional and has a great personality. He makes this place feel like a home that I want to be a part of. Can't rave more about this place, and I don't even live here. Hoping this is my home in the near future! Connor deserves a raise."
