Lake Pointe Apartments

"Cheap rent is cheap rent, but the management here… forget it! Before I moved in first thing I noticed the toilet wouldn’t fill after flushing, took 3 maint calls for them to finally fix it after they said “it’s been completed” over time everything seemed to of gotten worse. The shared laundry room for a 30 unit building turned into one operable washer with one dryer for at least a month and half… no response from maint requests throughout the building. Hot water went out for 5 days… no response to anyone in the building… when they had city inspectors come they entered my unit with NO NOTICE! Now I’m currently going on two days with no heat, but the maint request says “completed” with absolutely no communication… still no heat. Rent is cheap up not THAT cheap!"

"With my experience so far, I have nothing but good things to say about the management and maintenance here. Very happy with the apartment! The quality for the price is very hard to come by nowadays. Definitely worth checking out if you are looking for apartments with an affordable price."

"This is my second time living at lake pointe apartments. I moved here for my first time apartment in 2020 and really loved it. Updated units, good closet space, and friendly neighbors. I moved back a second time to downsize after living in a bigger home. My only complaints would be sometimes hearing people above me (thin walls) and the bathroom paint job is not so great. I’ve never had packages stolen or hear the fire alarms go off like other complexes. Management is good about getting back to you with emails or maintenance request. I do wish that there was a community room for families to visit or two bedrooms but overall it’s a great apartment for the cost."

"I have mixed feelings about this place. The unit I lived in was not great. There were many problems I encountered while living here. The building felt unsafe at times because the front door wouldn’t latch and lock. I had uneven flooring, water problems, water damaged walls, missing window vertical blinds etc. When I first moved in, I don’t think my unit had been cleaned. There was cat liter everywhere and the carpets smelled unpleasant (like pet urine). The gym at Lake Pointe is very depressing. It needs to be deep cleaned and redesigned. Management at Lake Pointe is very friendly, professional, and easy to work with. They get the job done and dealt with. They are very responsive to emails and will always tell you ahead of time if the parking lot will be plowed. 5/5 for management!"

"Save yourself the time and money. Cheap rent is meaningless compared to the utility bill they hit you with, and you pay electric on top of that. The apartment looks nothing like the model with extremely textured walls, existing nail holes, water stains, uneven floors, gnat infestations, and more. The apartment was not cleaned when we moved in. We vacuumed cat litter and cleaned urine stains. We had to sweep, mop, and clean all surfaces before even bringing our items in. And don’t bother reaching out to management, they don’t respond to voicemails."
