Belmont Apartments

"The Belmont is a fantastic place to live for a few reasons: The location in the city is very hard to beat. I can easily get on the freeway and go north, south, east or west after a few blocks. The building itself is gorgeous, having been built at the turn of the 20th century, originally serving as an upscale hotel (there’s even a ballroom in the basement). Off-street parking is great and not too pricey, and the neighborhood is clean, quiet, and pretty safe. Management is always on top of what is going on, and consistently looking for ways to improve my experience here. Building is kept very clean by on-site staff, who seem to know everybody by name, and maintenance are at your door within a day or two if you have any kind of issue. I’ve lived here for fifteen years and even though I’ve looked into buying a house a few times, the Belmont has become a very cozy home and will be hard to leave when the time comes. Five stars."

"Charming building, great location, street parking was doable (furthest I parked was 2 blocks away), laundry in basement that takes card, Jim/Glen/all of maintenance were super helpful and friendly, rent is a steal, the only reason I did not give 5 stars is that it took about 2 weeks to get a leak above my shower resolved and so I had to shower at friends' houses. All other maintenance was less an issue and fixed quickly. I highly recommend living here! It was a blast and I am a bit heartbroken to leave it after 2.5 years!"

"The Belmont is a great place and has an awesome location. I lived at the Belmont for 7 years in a garden level studio. It felt more like a small one bedroom because of the dividing wall and door. I didn’t think I would like the garden level but I got used to it, and the prices have been unbeatable in that location. It is an old building so it has that old building charm along with some quirks. The staff were amazing and quick to respond and repair issues that came up."

"The Belmont is by far my favorite, not to mention the most affordable, apartment I have lived in! The building is absolutely beautiful and full of character as much of its originality has been well-maintained. The staff, whether it be the manager, caretaker, or maintenance crew, are so friendly and know all the residents by name . If I ever need anything someone is always easily reachable by email or is present in the building. I have never had an issue with noise, and I feel the building is kept safe and secure. I have nothing but positive things to say regarding my experience at The Belmont!"

"I love my apartment at the Belmont! I was in search of an affordable apartment in Uptown with wood floors and white walls, and this has perfectly fit my expectations. I love the location and looking out over Sebatian Joe's and Patina, and having views of Franklin Ave. down to the lake. The staff is so so friendly and make me feel right at home. I also love the history of the building and the character that goes along with it (it used to be a long-term stay hotel), and love being able to tell the story to people who visit. I couldn't ask for a better apartment in Uptown!"
