"I feel Edina Highland Villa Apartments is an excellent place to live and call "home" The management team is outstanding and care about the residents and make living there a positive experience. The grounds are beautiful and the complex is convenient to everything. The building is on the older side but it is very well maintained . The building is quiet and so is the surrounding neighorhood area. One important amenity for me is the large 3 sided balcony...very private. It is like a little outdoor space of your own. I highly recommend this complex and it is truly worth considering and visiting when looking at rentals.."
"Oh goodness, where to even begin? This apartment is fantastic in just about every aspect. There is a beautiful walking path around a pond, an indoor and outdoor pool, a garden (you can rent plots), and a dog park in the back. There is a secured package room for all deliveries. You use something similar to a credit card for washing and drying ($2 each); you load money onto it via a machine. There is a small gym for residents to use. There is a trash chute. The underground heated garage is comfortable at 76-80 degrees (not sure what it is exactly; I am going off my car thermometer). I have spoken to management a few times, and they are extremely friendly! They have an office that you can walk into during business hours (I have an image of the hours below). Talk about availability! I think they live on-site. It does not get better than that. Now for the small list of negatives. My lights have been acting strange; they flicker and then stay on. It does not bother me at all, but some people might not enjoy that. In summary, maintenance has visited me at least five times, and all for the same problem: those darn lights! Note that they burnt out once, and I think the response was faster then. The response time from maintenance, on average, was relatively quick, about 2-3 days max. I am sure if it was something that bothered me more, they would be faster. Another negative (which could be a positive for some) is that the dishwasher does not open all the way unless you open the refrigerator door. I have an image below. When I moved in, I was given the option to switch it to a half dishwasher so it could open fully with the refrigerator door closed. I opted to keep it the way it is (a full dishwasher). It means I only have to run the dishes half as often, and the money saved that way far outweighs the refrigerator door being open for 5 minutes. The last negative is that I have only seen a small handful of young adults at the apartment. (My coworker said you go to Saint Louis Park for that, but that is too far from my work for my taste). I am sure they exist, but perhaps they are all busy like me! It is worth noting that there is a large group of elderly that play games and hang out pretty often! To close, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would not change a thing (except for the lights). Management is extremely easy to talk to and down to earth! Note that one of them is leaving after today to go to another place. It will be difficult for her replacement to be so kind and caring! Finally, look at a bunch of random pictures I took of the premises :) (The white door with the purple screen next to it is the package room) Note that I do not give out five stars because I believe nothing can be perfect. I wanted to give 4.5, but Google only lets you put an integer number of stars."
"Edina Highland Villa is extremely clean, and accommodating! The management is very caring! Clearly this building is staffed with people that care about their jobs and the people around them. This place is a blessing! In a world full of apartments doing the bare minimum and trying to take every penny they can Edina Highland Villa is the exact opposite."
"If you’re looking for a place to call home Edina Highland Villa Apartments is it. We have rented for the last year and I have nothing but great things to say about the exceptional staff. They are constantly working on the premises keeping up on the buildings maintenance. We had a few things needing maintenance in our apartment, and the office got back to us right away. They are in constant efforts to improve living spaces for all residents! Our family has an elementary aged child, a cat and a dog . The community is welcoming to pets and families. We had a unit that faced the backyard, the view was absolutely stunning, we had a view of one of the ponds and the beautiful green landscape. The peacefulness of the backyard made the apartment stand out from other apartments we have lived in in the past! Our family enjoyed the backyard daily. It was a safe place to play and a great walking path for our medium size dog. Very sad to have to relocate but also very grateful for the time spent at the Villas."
"I have rented from a lot of places. I cannot speak highly enough about the team that runs this property. Tracy and Connie are both incredible and genuinely care about each and every person they rent a unit or show a unit to. I’ve learned at this point you can have the nicest amenities, but they mean nothing if the management team treats their residents poorly. Here, it’s the best of both worlds. The reason I chose to move here, aside from the BEAUTIFUL property is Tracy. I followed her. She use to manage the apartments I last lived at and I missed her care and concern so much I asked where she moved to and followed her there because the property is always kept better than anyone else I have rented from, and because she has always made me feel welcomed, wanted, and valued. I cannot recommend moving here enough. It’s an incredible, special, and unique place."
