"If you SUPPORT PREDATORY TOWING this is a great apartment complex. It is truly a shame that a place where you pay monthly rent in excess of over $1,000 tows your vehicle within its parking lot. It's a shame that the building manager or owner would engage and authorize this kind of predatory towing just to make a commission on tows that occur. They allow these tow truck companies to scout the parking lot before the parking time is suppose to be enforced. The building manager or owner allows these tow companies to prey on the vehicles of the residents of the apartment and the guests of those residents. This building manager/owner should be ashamed. We pay rent here and it is not an unreasonable expectation that we park our own cars in the parking lot. It is also not unreasonable that guests may park their cars in the parking lot when they come to visit. Now one may ask, "if you know the rules, why not follow them?" That is a fair question and the answer is simple. The signs regarding the "parking rules" are not even inside the parking lot, so guests reasonably would not know they are not allowed to park there after a certain time, but even if they did know, we are paying rent. We should get to have guests come visit us at any time of the day or any time of the night. As long as we are paying rent, this is our home. It is for this reason, I would never recommend anyone to get a lease at this apartment complex unless you want to support a person who willfully authorizes Predatory Towing on his tenants. The reason I am using the moniker of John Smith is to protect my identity as I am still a resident of this apartment complex that authorizes Predatory Towing."
"I enjoy this apartment because they renovated it back in 2018. I'm doing my best to keep this apartment as is, no painting the walls no new renovations. I'm undecided on whether to stay in Minnesota or go back to Indiana where my baby sister and my ex-wife lives. My current landlord is wonderful to me. She's younger than me but beautiful. I miss her golden retriever, Bemidji. In the meantime, I'm here."
"Rachel is amazing, she is friendly and professional. Her staff and the residents are also all very nice. I have enjoyed living here. The location is hard for me however the peacefulness makes it worth living here."
"I moved in during the summer. Living here has been a good experience over-all. Rachel is a very responsive property manager and has been great about answering questions and providing clarity about policies as well schedules/expectations for the construction process. I have a few days left in the construction process where they’ll be checking the work and cleaning. The new kitchen and bathroom installments look great and appear to be of high quality. This is by no means a fancy place, nor is it advertised as being such. There have been some issues with the building, as it is an older property, but these have always been addressed promptly and any maintenance has been clearly explained and communicated by management. All of my neighbors have been friendly and it’s cool to live in a place with diverse a mix of families, couples, and single people. I haven’t had any of the safety or security concerns that have been reported in other reviews. As for the parking - it’s a bit annoying, but the policies were clearly communicated throughout the lease signing and move-in process. Rachel has been great about getting requested parking passes to me (which I request often) within a few hours of e-mailing her. I HIGHLY recommend paying the $50/month for underground heated parking. All-in-all, this is an affordable suburban apartment complex with responsive, professional management that is relatively well taken care of. As of now, as long as there aren’t large rent increases, I plan to renew my lease."
