"My four year old son was seen by licensed nurse practitioner Joanne Kuhnau for an appointment regarding an ear infection in the right ear which was not resolving. During this appointment I was told that the left tube had fallen out and was stuck in wax inside the ear canal. This was the opposite ear that was having the issue. She spent a very long time trying to retrieve it and then resorted to pouring peroxide in the ear which caused him to scream and thrash in pain…after this reaction she then flushed with water. She again tried to retrieve it but ended up aborting. Shortly after this appointment he began having bloody ear drainage, I brought him into the emergency room and was told he should be seen again by his primary ent the following day. I called and was told that that recommend waiting to recheck after a course of ear drops. The discharge turned very thick and yellow. I ended up taking him into his primary pediatrician who said that the tube appeared to still be functional in the left ear drum. I was able to get him into ENT Specialty Care for a second opinion and they confirmed that the tube in his left ear is still intact in the ear drum and functional. I was told that peroxide and water should never be put into an open area in the ear drum due to it being so caustic and water can cause ear infections. I have tried leaving messages to discuss this situation with a supervisor with no returned phone call. My son use to be so trusting and well behaved when we needed to use ear drops or have his ears examined. We have had to now hold him down for his ear drops, he panics. His left ear is also going on weeks of being infected and in pain. He was up crying during numerous nights following this visit regardless of Ibuprofen and Tylenol. I am very frustrated at the unnecessary doctor visits, emergency room visit and discomfort that this whole situation has caused my son."

"I’ve called for 3 days. No one ever answers the phone. I called after hours and the answering service took a message to have the office call and schedule with me. It’s been 4 days nothing. You sit on hold for 1 hr + every time you call to no avail. Meanwhile your poor child suffers."

My son who is two years old had ear tube surgery and Dr. Meyer was amazing not just with the surgery but with my son who also Rock in an extra chromosome. I would recommend them over and over staff and the doctors are very kind and know what they’re doing and do it well."

"Terrible customer service. Please do not think that your patients are uneducated or not informed about how the health system works. I had requested to see Peds ENT for my child as a self referral and I was told this is not possible, even though I have excellent health insurance and would have self paid if I needed to. The appointment request was for recurrent nose bleeds, hence a completely appropriate request to see ENT. Specialists do accept self referrals, it is not unheard of. As a physician myself, I know that I will not be bringing my children here for care or refer any patients here."
