"Why in to get my international driving permit. Super easy and the staff was super friendly. I even got a discount for being a member! They take photos on the spot."
"Very unprofessional & rude staff. New employee did not know how to buy car insurance, quoted one price but tried to charge higher price. Another employee John Cooley( last name spelling?) I tried to inquire regarding car insurance premium quote as few days ago Jan 9th the rate increase on car insurance premium happened nationwide. This employee John Cooley never returned my VM message for several days. I brought up to his boss, so then he called but was very angry as he said he got scolded by her(his boss), so he was rude & nasty, he tried to apologize as he was told to, but not sincerely. No one acknowledges the -- lack of customer service, rudeness, arrogance I noticed, therefore not much Hope that their service will improve. Employee John Cooley clearly discriminates/hates customers---women with accent & if their name is nor Mary or Kathy! Their boss--director she tried to question these 2 employees, but thats about it. This type of employee attitudes need attention, improvement to bring atleast a tiny level of professionalism, care, respect towards very respectable great long time loyal customers, instead of discrimination --the current culture at this Roseville branch. BTW, nobody--not the mgr nor the director thanked me for my hours of time that I took to write/talk & share the areas they desperately need improvement so new incoming customers/clients are not chased away by lack of response, poor treatment & incompetency where the new employee has no idea how to buy car insurance & particularly how to cancel car insurance with the other carrier because she said she has never done that before & she knew in detail what I made appointment for. So I had to go into the Roseville AAA office again today but they don't care about customer inconvenience. Yesterday finally I asked if the branch ngr was around, and the employee said no mgr is not in. The forsaken branch where 2 employees that I tried to take help, neither one of them helped! ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS! VERY POORLY RUN BRANCH!! I love to compliment & appreciate good employees & great customer service so there is one employee who is WONDERFUL & that is Molly. She is the one who always assisted me when I stop in once every 6 months as I like to pay my car insurance in person. Molly is always there for my appointment & is very helpful & v respectful lady! I truly appreciate her outstanding customer service. So, today when I made the 2nd trip for my car insurance, Molly helped very nicely as always. Until their mgmt acknowledges the rude, unprofessional, treatment of employees towards customers with no work ethics & no responsibility, there is not much hope for improvement. Because arrogant people fail to improve! Glad one decent good employee Molly works at this branch. The culture of branch is so lousy that I hope Molly does not leave. AAA is a REPUTABLE good company! Its Top Execs used to be Great Professionals who truly cared about customer service. But a lot of great Execs have left AAA, Someone needs to fix this branch culture as it is dis-service to society when employee behaviors are unnecessarily nasty ! And solid good customers are walking away, because who needs lousy treatment unnecessarily. Arrogant staff/Execs, remember customer is the Boss, without customers Execs can't enjoy inflated pay cks, yep!"
"Been a AAA member for 31 years. Lived in Canada and up and down east coast. Now I am in the Midwest and had to stop at AAA in Roseville MN to get an international drivers license. The man at the front desk was beyond rude. Looked me up and down, never said hello - asked what I was there for- I said what I needed and he then proceeded to ask if my drivers licensed had holes punched in it? I said what are you implying? Asked if he was judging me by my looks. He left the room. And I had a lady come out who was very helpful. Thank you Michele for salvaging AAA of Roseville ‘s reputation. I can only give 2 stars on this because that man at the desk needs to go elsewhere and learn how to effectively treat and greet people . And do not give a promotion to the man either- it’s a hard lesson but soft skills are needed in any job."
"After 50 years as an AAA member, I am giving up. Staffing of Roadside Assistance is so bad that the service effectively doesn’t exist. I had to wait almost two hours to get a battery jump on a warm August day. The people who came out were great but they are asked to cover an unreasonably large area with no back-up if things get busy."
"My older mother has been a AAA member for 30 years. She is finally taking a long-awaited trip to Alaska. She had excitedly been talking about meeting with her older, female AAA agent to plan for weeks. After the meeting, she called me, crushed. My mom, who never complains, said the AAA agent rudely dismissed her after determining she was “wasting her time” because she didn’t want to purchase an expensive travel package. The agent implied my mom “should have known better.” The experience was shocking and disappointing. We encourage the agency to treat its member better."
