"I did my evaluation with Calm clinic a year ago. Previously 2 years ago I was diagnosed with ADHD after 350 questionary and 2 meetings, so started on ADHD medications, and it never worked, I had horrible side effects, emotionally unstable, my previous psychiatrist just told me to deal with it. So I switched a psychiatrist who referred me to Calm clinic to do the more extensive evaluation. It is costly (my insurance didn’t cover it and I know I am lucky that I can afford the full package). It helped! So I’ve been on new non-ADHD medications (I still have ADHD) for almost a year now and continuously going through therapy. But I can tell 100% I’ve never felt better. I wish more people can afford it."
"When through hours and hours of testing and paid over $600 just to be told I am lying about my symptoms and got inconclusive results. If you have complex symptoms, go somewhere else. This place was a HUGE waste of time and money. I am incredibly disappointed. I feel like I was scammed. I’m always told that I am lying and I am sick of it. These so called professionals are biased and just want your money. They are a bunch of jacks using biased pseudo science to diagnose complex conditions. Go anywhere but here if you want real help and real answers and to be taken seriously and with dignity and respect. The doctor treated me like a child and literally told me I am lying. Why would I go to all this trouble, after A DECADE of searching for help and trying to get tested, just to lie? I am furious with the way this place treated me. Honestly I want my money back. I regret ever coming here. Now I am back to square one trying and trying to get help. Avoid this place."
"Myself, both of my daughters and my nephew found this experience welcoming, comfortable, thorough with a lot of good follow-up suggestions in really thorough report/ eval and ongoing follow-up 2 years later."
"Very bad at answering the phone and responding to emails. I had my last appointment were I was told I was diagnosed with adhd and that I would get the paperwork saying so in a couple weeks so I could take it to a physician to get medicated. Then over a month had passed before I emailed them wondering when it was coming in. I was told they would get it to me in the next few days. several more weeks passed with weekly calls and emails again asking when i would be getting the paperwork with no response. But in that time they were still managing to email the bills to me without responding to any previous emails."
"I would describe my experience with Dr. Johnson as disappointing. I saw him about 9 years ago. I wanted to be evaluated, including for ADHD. My ratings are based on the three separate issues (although the issues are related). First, after a couple interviews, Dr Gary Johnson wrote up a profile of me. I was surprised when I read the profile that he mentioned that I had prior use of coke (if i spell the word out, google blocks my review). This surprised me as I have NEVER taken coke (white powder), and I have never claimed to have taken coke (white powder). My best guess is that he was copying and pasting from another person's profile and did a messy job. When I brought it to his attention, he did fix it, but he minimized the error as not significant. Second, he said that I didn't have ADHD, I merely had limited working memory (bottom 5%). However, he did not do a great job of explaining why that is an either/or, since research shows that those two (limited working memory and ADHD) are highly correlated. Third, he concluded I didn't have ADHD. I realize this is judgment, and I realize that some will conclude that the doctor is an expert so probably he's correct. But, I continue to have most of the symptoms. My sister was diagnosed with ADHD. And my son (who is now 8 years old) was recently diagnosed with ADHD (at Ballard Clinic). Since ADHD is genetic, I find these related facts relevant. Overall, I would say that my experience with Dr. Johnson was disappointing."
