"The MENTAL HEALTHCARE FACILITY here is PHENOMENAL!!! I am a healthcare worker myself and I know the ins and outs of healthcare. My care was handled properly by people who had the biggest hearts to understand what I was going through and even being able to handle me as a patient! I felt validated and understood. The common people who don’t have the knowledge about healthcare do not understand how the healthcare system works. A lot of bad reviews are based on that, and it’s not their fault because they lack the understanding of how the healthcare industry works. The front desk worker D checked me in and was treating me normally. Dr. Tschonol was amazing!! She knew exactly what I needed as a patient! Sharon greeted me and she was so kind!! KingMai was an angel, I knew she was compassionate and she cared for me as her patient. Jessica was so nice to me. She took care of me throughout the night and my discharge Nurse MJ was so sweet!! Bruce was so sweet and personable! He was so understanding and he helped me to feel better about myself. Dr. Lee was also very nice and informed me of what I needed to know. Emily was great she helped me to understand the next steps so that I had care after I left. Thank you Fairview Health for actually treating me as if I was an important person. You will be the people I would like to continue my care with, going forward, and for my family/friends. I TRUST IN YOU and I say this from the bottom of my heart as a fellow healthcare worker. "Don't send or transfer your meds to the Riverside Pharmacy. My prescription was sent in yesterday around 3:00pm. I came in the next day to pick it up and it wasn't ready. I was told to wait for minutes. Since they were busy I waited for 15 minutes as a gratitude gesture from me. I was expecting someone to call me name but no one did. I checked with them again and was told to wait another 15 minutes. Mind you there's no parking, and waiting area. 30 minutes later and I am still waiting!"

"This is a review for the Family Practice office and OBGYN office! I moved from FL this year and have been slowly establishing new doctors up here - I am glad I chose this place! Every person I've seen so far has been very empathetic, welcoming, and kind. Dr. David Goodman was very thorough with my history and seemed to genuinely care about the frustrations I've been having with my health. He gave great pt education and by the end of the visit, I felt a little more confident in my care plan when I left. His front office staff and MA's were really nice and welcoming as well. Overall, 10/10. I've also been seen by the OBGYN for a BC implant removal/replacement. I was seen by a Midwife and NP student. Both were AMAZING and made sure I felt no pain during the procedure (I was really nervous)."

"This review is for Ann Oswood, the 7th Floor Midwife Team & the 3rd Floor Midwife Team. Riverside Women's Clinic varies dramatically between the providers, so I'd recommend getting informed about specific providers. Ann Oswood: 5 STARS! Ann is a lactation consultant & was a midwife for years before that. She is SO knowledgable about all things lactation. My first visit (just a few days after Baby was born), she helped me improve a shallow latch, she showed me a video of babies swallowing so I knew what to look for, she patiently answered a ton of questions that my husband & I had, and her presence was just SO positive and loving. At one point when my daughter latched, Ann started clapping (which honestly is what I needed given my nipples bled the first week). After 2.5 weeks since my daughter was born, I am happy to say that breast feeding is going SO. MUCH. BETTER. I owe a TON to Ann. Ann Oswood is a Lactation Fairy Godmother. That being said, I would NOT recommend the 7th floor midwife team (and would strongly recommend the 3rd floor midwife team instead). I initiated care with the 7th floor because I heard Riverside Midwives were more patient and less heavy handed with interventions. That's what I wanted. However, at my first appointment with a 7th floor midwife, she opened with talking to me about a 38 week induction because of IVF!! [Sidenote: IVF early induction recommendations really vary provider to provider. If this applies to you, I suggest reading up on it.] The biggest thing is that 7th floor midwife I met with made me feel small, & I left the appointment in tears. It's ultimately about how someone makes you feel - and if you feel threatened or stressed out, forget labor going smoothly! In addition, the other things that were an issue: the midwife wasn't active with Up to Date, didn't ask me about my preferences, and didn't make me feel heard when I shared my concerns about an early induction. 1 Star Review for 7th Floor Midwife Team. The 3rd floor midwife team was MUCH more aligned to what I was looking for - low intervention, & evidence based / research oriented (the team gave me articles to read when I requested them). The 3rd floor team also listened to me, didn't make the appointments feel rushed & ultimately helped me deliver my baby girl in a loving, supportive & respectful way (at 40 weeks!) 5 star review for 3rd Floor Midwife Team! Three midwives stand out as being exceptional and on the low-intervention & evidence based birth side: Natalie, Andrea & Dara."

"Everyone should be treated the way they’re supposed to be treated. In this case, I don't recommend this place to anyone at all because they’re very careless and are in a hurry for you to leave. My child was the one receiving a check-up and the “doctor” helping us showed no interest in helping my child and gave me incomplete answers regarding my child’s symptoms. I would give 0 stars if I could!"
