"When I made appointment and gave them our insurance info, they told me that they accept our insurance and all the lab expenses would be covered. It turns out this is NOT the case. I had to pay over $500 out of our pocket. Very unprofessional practice!!! (PS: I called and option 3 is not helping, and option 3 is a nurse line. Nobody at Billing Dept answered my call. )"

"I made a appointment for my daughter very concerned with her mental health. She's an adult so she went alone. What a mistake. The doctor sent her on her way telling her to go to HCMC. Who does that? She needed a referral to get on meds. What is wrong with our medical system??"

"I use the Sheridan clinic now because I love Alicia. The Central Ave clinic was brand new and beautiful a couple years back I used that clinic exclusively then because I didn't have insurance and worked a few blocks away. I have always felt well taken care of at both Sheridan and Central locations. I haven't been to Fremont since the early 90's but I can't imagine it's much different there than the other two affiliated clinics. Tax dollars well spent even if one guy had a crappy experience."

"Fremont Clinic is a con-operation. Before my appointment I asked numerous times about the cost of the tests.Everyone I asked about the pricing was reluctant to give me the answer. I chose Fremont Clinic initially because their prices seemed fair from what answers I could obtain. Do not be fooled. You will undoubtedly be surprised when they send you a bill a few weeks later that is hundreds over their estimated cost. I also requested an interpreter 1 week before the appointment yet he did not show up on the day of the appointment. Overall the place was very unprofessional and I believe the value of the care provided is pathetic. Avoid this place unless you are in a state of emergency. Otherwise prepare to get ripped off. Then when I call them to ask about all of these fees that they did not disclose with me earlier, the lady said that "It's no longer our responsibility""

"Strauman Chiropractic has visited all of the Neighborhood Health Source clinics over the past year and has had the opportunity to get to know the doctors, nurses and staff. Their staff is very kind and welcoming, and go out of their way to make sure that the patients feel comfortable when they arrive. They offer a sliding fee scale to the patients who are in need of it. The nurses greet the patients with a smile and the doctors are genuinely caring. We can't wait to see the new Central Clinic when it opens!"
