"went here in march of 2021. my therapist, tom broke hippa while i was here. i emailed the center after my stay to ask for his last name and information as i wanted to report him to the board. i never received a response. i had two sessions with him over the course of four weeks despite repeatedly asking"
"The staff was terrible at communication. My child and i both had a terrible experience and strongly suggest looking elsewhere for mental health care for your child. They always took forever to bring my child out when i would pick her up for appointments after giving them a list of dates and times of her appts TWICE. We had to discharge very early. My child did not learn any coping skills. One of the processing staff members had several students in tears for half of the day. I came in for family therapy for a one hour session and was only there for about 20 minutes. We did not get any help in that one session. Our family therapy sessions kept getting rescheduled. Honestly, my childs mental health got worse and that is why i discharged her early. If i could give a negative star review here, i would."
"Prairie Care's PHP program was exactly what my child needed to help her move forward with therapy. Our team worked with me to figure out some viable next steps in our journey. I am really impressed with how much effort they took in getting to understand her and figure out what therapies would be most helpful moving forward. I'm looking forward to seeing my child continue growing in her new therapies."
"The appointment staff is lacking organizational skills. I’ve attempted to schedule an appointment with James, Katie, Taylor and Cigna and the communication and organizational skills are extremely lacking. And then when you ask for records they have “none”. What medical facilities do not keep records of visits, phone calls, appointments? If you are having any kind of mental health need, stay away, you can’t even get scheduled!!! Go elsewhere! Call your insurance company and ask them for other referrals! ** I have already spoken with your patient advocacy, they were no help. This entire establishment is a joke!!!! Go elsewhere for your mental health needs!!!! After seeing Dr Nelson today. My feelings have not changed. You all need a better training for the people who answer the phone. Dr Nelson is terrible. Rude short and refuses to listen to anything you have To say. I would stay away from this place. Get on other places wait list, call around there are other places to help you with your mental health needs."
"It has been absolutely awful to work with Prairie Care. While the mental health support we received was beneficial, the billing department is incompetent and a nightmare to work with. I’ve been trying for over a year to have them submit my bill to insurance and even after three phone calls with both Prairie Care and my insurance company they still have not done so. I strong recommend you do not work with Prairie Care."
