"I recently had the pleasure of staying at the AmericInn hotel in Chanhassen, and I am compelled to share what an exceptional experience it was, thanks in large part to the warm hospitality of Ravi, the evening front desk attendant. From the moment I arrived, Ravi's welcoming demeanor set the tone for a delightful stay. His genuine humility and eagerness to assist were truly refreshing. It's evident that he takes great pride in ensuring guests feel comfortable and valued. Ravi's local knowledge and recommendations were invaluable, guiding me to some hidden gems in the area that I might have otherwise missed. His passion for the community and genuine interest in making my stay enjoyable left a lasting impression. The hotel itself was impeccable, with well-appointed rooms and a level of cleanliness that exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail throughout the establishment is a testament to the high standards maintained by the staff. The complimentary breakfast was a delightful start to each day, offering a variety of options to suit every palate. The amenities, including the pool and fitness center, were well-maintained and provided a welcomed opportunity for relaxation. The entire staff at AmericInn Chanhassen, under Ravi's leadership, exudes a culture of hospitality that is truly commendable. Each interaction was marked by courtesy, professionalism, and a genuine desire to ensure my stay was nothing short of excellent. In conclusion, my time at AmericInn Chanhassen, with Ravi's exceptional service, surpassed all expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable, welcoming, and memorable stay in the area. Ravi's warm welcome and humble nature exemplify the level of service that sets this establishment apart."
"Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. They didn't ask for a deposit, easy check in, and close to certain things. Getting into the park lot was kinda a mess because you have to go thru a few parking lots to get to the hotel. Checking into the hotel was very fast and easy. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice. He told me where the elevator was, hours for the pool, and breakfast. Lots of sitting when in the lobby area with a fireplace. The elevator did take awhile to just go up/down one floor (three floors total) but did work. Once we got into our room it was very spacious and clean. When we started to look we noticed things like the ceiling above the jacuzzi was really bad. The corner had some sort of fixture that was broken. Also had mold on the shower curtain and in the sink. The fridge seemed very small and hidden in the cabinet but we were happy to have one. We didn't use the pool area but when we look inside seemed big. We had a jacuzzi room so no need to go into the pool. The breakfast area was in a room with tables. I didn't go into it but my husband says it was very basic. It was simply eggs, sausage, and waffle for warm food. Also cereal, bread, juice, and coffee. The location of this hotel really just depends on what you want to do in the cities. It's not far from the Mall of America (20 minutes) further to downtown. Close to Paisley Park and Asian Mall so really just depends on what you want to do."
"Booked a pet friendly room for this last New Year’s Eve along with two other couples. When we checked in we found out we had to pay an extra $50 because of an unannounced pet! I told the unfriendly and extremely hard to understand desk attendant that I was not going to pay that because I booked a pet friendly room, and they gave me a rate accordingly. I ended up having to pay $30 which I was not very happy about. One of the reasons we went was to watch the Vikings and Packer football game as a group. I confirmed with the unfriendly and very hard to understand attendant that they did, indeed have access to the game on their system to which he insured me they did. We even made some jovial banter about the Vikings and packers. Upon settling into our rooms, we were not very happy to find out that they did not have the game available to their guests. My friend went down to the front desk to inquire, and was told by the attendant he would call Direct TV then contact him shortly. After another half hour, I went up to the front desk and got the same answer as the front attendant tried to make it look like he was writing my room number on his palm. Weird! Apparently, there’s no paper at the front desk either. Luckily, my daughter who also had a room and only lived 10 minutes away went home and got a chrome stick so that we could stream the game from our phones! The hotel is your typical roadside hotel, nothing special but it is definitely showing wear and tear. The vinyl flooring just beyond the lobby all the way to the elevator room looks like it had been flooded out over and over by the ice machine and was split apart all over the place. In the halls there was a lot of missing paint, worn out edges, etc. Our rooms had not been cleaned upon check in time so we had to wait 20 minutes to even get into them. There was only one roll of toilet paper in our bathroom and the other three-quarter roll had a small piece of brown substance stuck on the side of it! When you sat on the toilet, it felt like it was going to come off its mount. There is no way I would go to this place again and would I never recommend it."
"We had a great stay at this Wyndham! The beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was a good variety and plentiful, and the staff was quite helpful with anything we needed. I would like the bathrooms to be updated to the same level as the rest of the hotel, but it was still functional and clean; they just looked outdated, and the old grout gave the appearance that the bathroom wasn't clean. Our overall stay was enjoyable, and the location was only five minutes away from our destination. We would stay there again in the future."
