"I am a Vietnamese mother! When I expressed my concerns about the children he blanched and said it was all normal! You make an appointment with the doctor because your child is sick, only to be told that your child is normal but your child is sick! It makes a mother's psychology worse!"

"When my son was born at Mercy Hospital, I used whatever peds dr was on call because I had not yet picked on out. We got Dr Cheshier. I never met the man until they took my son back for his circumcision. I was not worried because my son was in good health and a circumcision is fairly routine nowadays. Fast forward to almost 8 months later and a new peds dr. We have had issues with his circumcision and have done everything to care for his circumcision. Now it has been identified that it was not cut right in the first place. My son will now have to be put to sleep and get this procedure done all over again. A side note from all this is that when we were released from the hospital (didn't ever see him for my sons release) we were told to go back to him for post-care until we made a choice on a peds dr. I assume this was to make sure that the birth doctor was able to see the birth weight and all that for the first few weeks. We went to his office that he was addressed at (wrong office) then we had to go to his actual office and it was AWFUL. It was not clean and smelled of cigarette smoke!"

"Had this dr for 12 yrs he put daughter on focalin for attention deficiency when we voiced concerns of side effect of emotions He said she is a girl and is at that age. When we also told him she has headaches everyday he said give her mountain dew. We switched dr and they are trying her on other non stimulant medicine until we find the right one. Wish we would have switched sooner"

"My daughter was sick, I called and the first nurse said for me to keep doing what I was doing, that it sounded like a cold. Ok, no problem. She woke up the next morning complaining of a sore throat, I called back & this nurse waited over 2 hours to call me back. By this time I was already checked in at the ER. She informed me the ER most likely wasn't going to do anything. Which let me add my child had a fever off and on for a few days. 20 seconds in the room with the ER Dr, & just as I thought She has strep. Cheshire himself is a great Dr. His nurses on the other hand, I'm beginning to wonder if a few just pulled their license from a cracker jack box."

"I love having dr Cheshier and his staff as our pediatric care team. They are a down to earth bunch who have been very supportive through the years that we have gone there. I also appreciate not being told to medicate my child constantly as so many other offices overuse antibiotics and such. My child is very lucky to have such an amazing care team and I am lucky to have found a great support team as I raise my last little one."
