"After not agreeing to take our little one to Little Rock or Springdale for an extended stay, due to (failure to thrive) Josh Wilkinson told us we either would take our child there or CPS would be called. After refusing we went straight to the E.R. Unnecessarily to cover our bases, to which the doctors were asking why we were even there. Our child was clearly fine. But had lost 0.7 bounds while having two Upper respiratory infections back to back. Even the CPS worker said within the first 30 seconds he didn’t have any reason to be here. And he would close the case and speak to his supervisor about the report. I’m assuming Joshua gets kickbacks from sending people to children’s. I’ve never had a pcp or anyone in the medical field try to extort me. But if that’s your cup of tea this is the place."
"Recently switched as was not happy with former pediatrician and we just love it here everyone so nice. We saw Madison to change daughters medicine who has attention deficiency and she was willing to try something that was my idea her former pediatrician just kept making excuses not to take her off of a stimulant. Wish we would have switched sooner."
"I’ve gone back and forth about making a review but honestly I think other parents need to know our experiences there. We’ve had multiple interactions with this clinic so they have had many chances. First off, let me preface with the NP Sarah Anderson is fantastic. Every time we have seen her she was great, so if you have to use this clinic I would request her. We first used this clinic when was two year old was a few days old. They recommended that I let them heel-prick him and send off his blood to check the jaundice levels. They did it and the nurse was incredibly rough with my newborn and not compassionate. It was pretty traumatic as a new mother to watch that. They proceed to call us hours later and tell us the blood was sent off in the wrong vial and it had to be done again. It was such a careless error. A few days later we decided to use Dr. Wilkinson for my son’s circumcision because we had heard good things about his work. They informed me my son would not feel any pain and to just nurse after. My son was returned to me in an inconsolable state and remained that way for days. After the wound began to heal I noticed a small flap of skin was missed. I called the doctor for him to look at it. He informed me that the flap of skin wasn’t there and he did not mess up in any way. The flap of skin is still there two years later. It was as if he was trying to convince me my eyes weren’t seeing correctly. Now, the final straw, I took my second son, a newborn, to the urgent care a couple weeks ago for his belly button bleeding. The NP proceeded to not even touch the belly button and inform me that I must have buckled his belly button into his swing and then explained to me, as if I was a child, how to buckle him in properly and just put Neosporin on his belly button. I knew I had not done that and that this diagnosis was not correct, so rather than arguing I just took him to another provider. This provider informed me it was a textbook umbilical granuloma and then gave him treatment. I am very disappointed in this clinic and do not advise anyone to use them."
"Hurried exam with horrible diagnosis and blatantly contraindicated treatment recommendation! I wouldn’t let this NP treat my dog. We are from out of town. Our 4 year old son had bilateral tympanostomy tubes placed a few months ago. A few days before we left town, a pediatric audiologist who is a family friend checked our sons ears and said the tubes were becoming plugged. He started him on drops and advised to have them rechecked. So we stopped by here to have them rechecked. The arrogant NP briefly looked at the ears and immediately concluded it was swimmers ear. Didn’t ask about patient history. We informed the NP of his history and that we were concerned his tubes were becoming plugged. She still advised swimmers ear drops! Even after commenting that the tubes didn’t look plugged! After torturing our son with ear drops for 2 days, we googled “swimmers ear drops with tubes” and immediately discovered that is a complete contraindication! How can a pediatric urgent care provider not know that! Eat tubes and ear problems are one of the most common pediatric complaints! I plan on filing a complaint with the board of nursing."
"We like the clinic and the staff and have had great experiences here. The only negative is they wait 4 months after seeing your child and call you and inform you that there is an outstanding balance. So I asked if they mailed me anything and they say well we don't bill for anything under a certain amount and yours is only $8. Ok so how am I supposed to know I have a balance when you don't send me a bill? This has happened the last two times after being seen here. And then when I ask for them to mail me a bill they get mad. Makes zero sense"
