"Called and scheduled a hearing aid appointment because my hearing aids stopped functioning January 19th. I specifically said that I could only afford it with my insurance and was assured it was covered. TODAY March 11th, nearly 2 full months later on the day of my appointment I received a phone call telling me they were out of network specifically for hearing aid coverage. I was told that it was part of their procedure to call about insurance coverage issues the day before the appointment. Sometimes they'll wait until the actual appointment and discuss payment options with the patient in person during the appointment!!!! I was blown away by the incompetence. Seriously they'll pull a bait and switch on a patient just to get them in the door like a sleezy salesman. I am disabled I cannot afford hearing aids that's why I have health insurance that covers them. They have intentionally short staff and in the billing department they have ONE employee responsible for running benefits for all hearing aid patients. I know that for every hearing aid their office sells they're making bank on it. Hire an extra person and treat your patients' time with respect. I will make certain that my friends know not to waste their time at your office. I will not be wasting another minute of my time on this office MUCH LESS another 2 whole months to find out I scheduled an appointment for nothing."
"This office is a hot mess. We have been come here for over two years. EVERY time there is an issues. First they couldn't verify my insurance before I came, then said my insurance needed a referral. The referral must expire every 5 days because I need a new one every time. But they cannot tell me before I drive 2 hour to get here. NOPE, they tell me when I walk in at 7:45am then tell me I can't be seen because my Primary care physician/ insurance doesn't open till 8am and that would make me late for the appointment. You are joking right? I can go on and on about the issues I have had! My kids (5) have been to see Many other ENT in the past this is the ONLY office I have ever had this many hiccups with. Insane. Not to mention they got my sex wrong. Girl. Girl, girl. -born female, act female, dress female, sound female, this isn't an act of mis-gendering. This is literally them not fixing it in the notes/charts after the last 6 appointment even after I have brought it up to them everytime. Yes the doctor is more than competent, the office staff on the hand are probably people who got fired from being greets at walmart. They just throw paper around and hope it lands in the right chart. Don't expect much from here."
"You didn’t cal be back about a possible CANCER SCREENING then have the balls to ask for 350$ for a visit to do NOTHING, but hey at least the doctors Tesla is fully charged ready to take him back to his mansion :)"
"My son had surgery seeing Dr.Vaughn when he was 6 and continued to have issues with hearing. We went in for multiple follow up appointment's and at this last appointment (hes now 8) we were making sure both of his tubes had fallen out even though he still had hearing issues. Dr.Vaughn said they were both out and he recommended new tubes to help. After we left I received a call about needing a new referral to cover the appointments going forward. As we were being seen by his PCP she found the tube in his ear canal embedding itself after less than a month from being seen by Dr.Vaughn at ENT. He spent less than 5 minute's total in the room seeing my son and I feel like if more attention was given to my son this wouldn't of been an issue. I paid close to $200 to be seen for 5 minutes and he didn't even do it correctly. My sons first surgery he had multiple things done at once and now looking back I hope it was all necessary and not the doctors being money hungry. We will be moving ENT clinics going forward and I highly suggest other mamas look elsewhere or get a second opinion."
"Helping my mother with her hearing aids, very mediocre experience…the clinic may just be too busy, so it may not be the staff’s fault, but there does seem to be a lack of understanding/caring of what it means to the client to go without their hearing aids for days and days. Pairing a replacement to her original one took at least 3-4 days after being told “hopefully same-day”, during which a couple of calls to Audiology were never returned. Cones were supposed to be mailed from Springdale to Fayetteville last Wednesday, still haven’t received, which means Momma only has one useable hearing aid for 6 days (and counting)… just seems like unnecessary distress…my kingdom for a horse!"
