Reviews of Minimal Access Surgery Clinic
"2nd appointment for a simple refill. Waited an hour and a half both times just to get out in a room for another 30 min. If you can find a different DR. I would highly recommend it."
"Great Doctors, Nurses, Desk Assistants and Schedulers. I like the atmosphere and approachable/helpful attitude of everyone there. They are happy too, they actually joke around together, and laughter is often floating by. Considering the less than joyful prognosis for many of us patients, it's an uplifting and important ingredient for us, and we are thankful (although I am sure we do not share this nearly as often as we do should, so Thank You!) They could use some more comfortable chairs and chair options, in reception, but what Doctor's office has them. Otherwise, I have no complaints and that's saying a lot when it's from such a jaded customer as myself!"
"Good staff. Friendly. But actual medical persons not good. My son endured an awful Colonoscopy.. ER doctor Discovered next days his colon was badly inflamed and a large kidney stone. On Friday we gave up calling this Minimal Clinic and went there. It was closed for the day. There was no on call person nothing. Do not go there or take anyone else there. My son has been in so much pain. Thanks NW Medical for taking care and making him a priority."
"Wait times are a bit long, do know that when making an appt, you will most likely wait an hour, give or take, before going into a room. Office staff are always very helpful, kind and hard working. Dr. Froman's team is top notch and any time my friends have kids I automatically recommend that they take their kids to her for their pediatrics. My daughter has no fear when coming to the doctor because they do such a good job making them feel welcomed, and explaining what they're doing! We love you Dr. Froman and team!!"
"I came to Minimal Access Surgery Clinic on my figurative knees. I came in with my CPTSD diagnosis, and the plethora of diagnoses that come with that, as well as Fibromyalgia. I have multiple genetic mutations that cause me to not process most prescription medications. I can not take most mental health medications, and I can not take any narcotics for pain without severe side effects and debilitating physical reactions. I have struggled with the symptoms associated with the above diagnoses starting at age 12. I have never found relief from them. Until now. Chelsi and Brittany, the anesthesiologist's at Minimal Access Clinic were my ANGELS. Chelsi guided me through the process of getting in to the clinic and getting started, and did my first of 6 infusions. Brittany did infusions 2-6. The ketamine infusions were a game changer for me. A life changer for myself and my family. I had positive physical AND mental experiences after only one infusion; which is quite rare, apparently. Ketamine brought me to a baseline of normalcy I have never known. It brought me awareness that I didn't know existed because I had been stuck on Hyper Alert for 20 years. I also have endometriosis and about 4 weeks after my 6th infusion I pushed myself too hard helping family move, then my endometriosis flared... 4 weeks and 3 days after my 6th infusion, I crumbled. I could not get out of bed, I could not think, I could not breathe, I could not take my daughter to therapy because I could not get out of bed. I got in contact with Chelsi, who had been aware I was starting to struggle... and she moved mountains for me, Google! She moved my own mountains for me. She convinced me to keep going, to keep trusting, and to come back in that same day for a booster, with more plans to help. Chelsi then took her own time and effort and put it into calling pharmacists and physicians from California to New York, explaining how incredibly successful my case had been from the very first infusion, and how hard I crashed at 4wks post my last infusion. She took advice and guidance from many that she spoke to during those calls. And she had a plan for me besides just dropping another large amount of money on a booster and sending me on my way. In the conversations Chelsi had, she was advised to utilize lozenges or nasal spray for me! That is compounded ketamine lozenges/nasal spray. And after some discussion between ourselves, we decided lozenges were the way to go. She proceeded to speak with Dr. Kendrick and get him on our page, and he agreed! Two weeks ago, I went and got my lozenge script from Minimal Access Surgery, for half of the price that all the other ketamine clinics in the country are scripting at. I took the script literally across the street to a compounding pharmacy, and they were ready for pick up 2 days later. I started utilizing the lozenges at only a quarter of a lozenge at a time. I only needed to stay at a baseline... to be okay when I woke up, instead of debilitated from overwhelming feelings of defeat and fear, and to continue through therapy to heal the wounds that the ketamine is helping. I take (I do not swallow the lozenge, I let it dissolve under my tongue and hold the saliva in without swallowing for about 20min) a quarter of a lozenge every Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday night. I had the most emotionally and mentally graceful week of my adult life through a time of very high stress last week. Then my endometriosis reared it's nasty head yesterday... and fear tried to take me over! I was so afraid I was going to crash again and need a booster because of how it went last month. However, because I have the lozenges I was able to utilize them. Because endometriosis is a hormonal thing, more than a baseline mental thing, I knew I needed something to help my baseline come back up, quickly, to handle the hormonal surges. So I took a half of a lozenge instead of a quarter of a lozenge, before bed. The rest of the typed review will be in the picture below, because I am out of characters, here!"
