"I’ve been shopping at this location since it was built in 1996. My first experience was at the St Louis Park Byerly’s location and I couldn’t wait to take my mom. She couldn’t believe how beautiful it was and actually took a few pictures of the lights and carpeting with her 35MM camera back then. I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Through the years I’ve called Byerly’s for advice on cooking/baking and personal event planning. Everyone has been extremely helpful both over the phone and in-person. The phone calls were necessary because it was pre-internet. One of the best features that Lnds/Byerly’s has to offer is their recipes. My love for cooking and baking came from the recipes that Byerly’s shared through the years, and especially during the holidays. Some of my favorite recipes have come from the Byerly’s archives. My recent visit was to the deli in Eagan. Typically I make things myself from scratch, but I ran out of time so decided to take a look at the deli. I purchased the non-pasta Cherry Chicken Salad and the Jeweled Cranberry Quinoa Salad. Both exceeded my expectations and I had to make another visit today for more because both were so tasty. I will be searching the internet looking for the recipes and will be back to buy the ingredients to make myself. As always thank you for the inspiration."

"The bakery replaced many of their more unique and delicious traditional pastries with horrible trendy-looking square pastel abominations. The pastries are now self-serve, like a gas station. The hot food bar and salad bar are no longer kept up as nicely as a few years ago. The Caribou inside sometimes closes with no notice or employees go on break and no one is available to serve you coffee. They have in many cases the same brands and offerings as HyVee and Cub, at higher prices. I’m not sure if there is any reason to go here anymore."
