"By far, my favorite thrift store in the area. They practice what they preach and actually care about the mission they stand for. Everyone that works there or volunteers there is friendly and compassionate about what they do. All around a good experience. The shopping area is organized and the pricing is reasonable for the cause."
"I have lived in this area for a few years now. When I first moved here, this was one of my absolute favorite thrift stores. As a single mother in a new place, I appreciated the great deals here very much. In the last year, the prices have gotten ridiculous. $15 for used simple dress is ridiculous. Furniture used to be reasonable, most things under $60. Now,, good luck finding anything for less than $125. When did this become a boutique? I thought thrift stores were there to help people. Recently, I was looking for clothes for a job that I’m starting and ended up leaving. Instead, I went to TJ Maxx. I was able to buy more than I would have for LESS there."
"HORRIBLE EMPLOYEES! The old fat lady’s who took over this place are the most completely disgusting and disrespectful people I have ever met. Excpecially a THRIFT store that gets everything DONATED to them, then take those items and price them way too high then what they actually should… you guys also are the most evil people towards the homeless and ones in need and for those people who come in with vouchers for ur items, you tell them to leave and take there voucher else where, when YOU GUYS TAKE VOUCHERS! And your hours for those vouchers are RIDICULOUS! Horrible horrible store! DONT DONATE OR BUY FROM THIS STORE!"
"Staff was very rude and caused a scene (the gray haired manager women) when they said it was 75% off of all furniture but the table we tried to buy did not count for the sale."
"Used to be great, now expensive and gentrified. A bunch of aggressive old ladies suddenly took this place over about 5 months ago and started maniacally gentrifying it. Now everything is set up like an expensive boutique and the reason everyone shopped here (affordable second hand goods) is non existent. I don't understand who they think their clientele is, the people who shop here mostly do it because they can't afford a $99 dollar mirror without the dresser it goes on; or $20 pants for that matter. Sometimes a less financially blessed person just needs to get a coat or boots. Rip to one of Fargo-Moorhead's last reasonable thrift shops."
