"10:50 at night. I wake up to people walking on the roof of my apartment. I call up, asking what they’re doing and get no response. They then start stomping across my roof repeatedly, making it clear it was intentional. When they finally climb down from the roof, I asked them what they were doing up there at this time of night and one of the two guys immediately started calling me “Karen” and then began filming me. Really? Almost 11 at night and you’re bringing rude and derogatory? How am I being unreasonable? Professional courtesy and knowing when to apologize versus being antagonistic and downright rude is something you need to learn. Had the individual apologized and explained what he was doing, that would be an entirely different scenario. Stomping harder because someone calls up and asks what you’re doing?!
