"This companey is a scammer.They installed a brand new water softener and every day has problems. He is asking $49.99 every time he wants to come and check it out and they don’t do anything. The guy who is answering the phone is the owner and he is super rude. Never recommend this scammer to anyone."

"I called CNJ late Sunday evening for a clogged main drain at my home. They were responsive and were able to be out the next morning. Costa in the office was amazing with communicating when they would be out and followed up after the job. Dino was the plumber dispatched to my home. He was professional and was able to resolve our plumbing issue quickly. The owner even stopped by to make sure the job was going smoothly. I can't thank CNJ enough for helping me out."

"We had a great experience with this company! Our water heater busted and our home warranty company contacted CNJ Services to repair the water heater. Vince came out the next day to diagnose and made it so that our water could be on while we waited for a new water heater, which he came to install the next day (on a Saturday). Vince was very professional, arrived on time, explained everything well, and was honest with pricing (our Old Republic home warranty covered everything). He did great work! The receptionist was quick and friendly to schedule the service appointments. We are happy with service they provided."

"CNJ services arrived at our house, Friday October 2nd, 2020 to replace a leaking water heater. We have a home warranty with American Home Shield (AHS), and they contacted CNJ to complete the work. I was informed prior to the install, that CNJ would required $505, prior to the service being performed. Our house was currently vacant, and I gave them the garage code to enter, and replace the water heater. Two days later, my husband went to the house to check on their work using the same key pad to enter the garage. Gas was spewing out, and my husband got in his car to get to a safe place to call 911. Long story short, my husband is lucky to be alive. Fire trucks, Sheriff Department, SW Gas all arrived within minutes to clear the area. The fire department told my husband, had he waited another day or two; the house would have blown when the garage door was activated (my husband would be dead). Add insult to injury, I called CNJ immediately, and told them what was going on. They offered to come back and install properly when someone was available. I told them they had FAILED at the installation, and I wanted the $505 back that I had to pay in advance. She said she would have the owner call me. I have called back two more times, but owner was not available, but promised I would hear back soon. I have disputed the charge on my credit card, and will file a complaint with the Registrar of Contractors. I also plan to contact AHS, to get CNJ removed as an approved vendor. "WARNING: Urging any potential patrons seeking plumbing servicing to read this review to understand the poor quality of service and even worse customer service with CNJ. CNJ was selected from American Home Shield warranty company to perform a fairly simple shower faucet. In a 4 month period, the shower faucet remains unrepaired despite my several calls and emails. Upon my initial contact with CNJ, I sent them detailed pictures in order to potentially order parts and save time. Although the office received them, they were never passed to the parts dept. or technician that came to service the faucet. Tech arrives, took identical pictures, and stated we have to order parts. This should have been the red flag! Two weeks later, parts arrive and tech came to install the new cartridge. Tech claims that I broke the parts and could not perform the repair, had to reorder even though they were given a sealed package. Another two weeks pass, new parts arrive and tech states they were the wrong parts. Also stated that he doesn't get paid for each trip he makes and needs to get this done, WOW! Red flag #2. 3 months pass, same scenario with ordering wrong parts. However in one visit the tech breaks the on/off control cartridge as well and now has to order those parts. Parts arrive, replace both temp control cartridge and on/off. New tech comes (supervisor of 15 yrs), old tech quit. Supervisor breaks the temp control cartridge and puts it back in anyway, calls it a complete job. Sup notifies owner of CNJ of what and had no issue with it. They are not getting paid, right! Had a verbal conversation with the owner, George. Stated that the parts were unavailable any longer and needed to take a cash out option from AHS. I found the parts locally at a plumbing supply store, emailed George and his team. No return email or calls from CNJ. Next steps... Called AHS to complain about the poor service from CNJ. AHS speaks to Lisa and lies, stating the job was completed last month with no issues, WOW! How these dishonest people are in business blows my mind! Least I could do was warn others of my experience, for such a small item. After reading all of the reviews below, this seems as if this is very common with CNJ, how sad!"
