"Dr Richard Kelly was instrumental in managing my Type 1 Diabetes. I've been Diabetic since I was 4. Dr Kelly convinced me to go on an insulin pump, which has been beyond awesome! Although Dr K is not in the office now, I want to truly thank him for all he did through the last 25 yrs! Miss and love Dr Kelly and hope to see him and his family at the Beach! You deserve it!"
"Dr. Kelly has been my Internist for about 14years. He is a Godsend...compassionate & highly skilled. I am always able to make appointments in a timely manner and specialist referrals & Rx refills are never an issue. An excellent location too & office staff is always pleasant. I highly recommend Dr. Kelly! Update: Dr Kelly has now retired. I see the PA in the office (Davis Q.) and am very happy with the continued care I receive."
"Wish I could leave zero stars because that's what this office deserves. Thats what happens when a corporation runs your physicians office. No calls back, no reply after a week of trying to refill a script. This review is most likely pointless but I hope someone sees this and it stears them to an actual caring provider."
"My 29 year old son has autism. He cannot do needles of any kind. He has violent panic attacks when we have attempted. That being said, he has not had blood work since he was a teenager (I was able to insist him being restrained during the draw). I have finally found a solution. His oral surgeon is doing my son’s wisdom teeth with gas (then an IV once he is out). The oral surgeon agreed to do the blood draw while my son was under sedation if dr Kelly would supply the vials needed. Dr Kelly said”no”. No suggestions other than having the draw done traditionally in the lab. I told dr Kelly that it was not an option and if we could not get bloodwork done, my son could possibly die of something curable just because dr Kelly would not allow another dr to do the blood draw. I was crying at this time and dr Kelly just laughed saying “….is not going to die” How can we know anything without bloodwork! I pray we can find another more sympathetic doctor soon. My son stormed out of the examination room and I followed in uncontrollable tears."
"I was referred to Dr. Richard Kelly by a former patient of his, and scheduled a new patient exam. Front office staff was a bit impolite, but otherwise okay. As for Dr. Kelly, he spent no more than five minutes with me. His demeanor was dismissive and discourteous, giving off the impression that I was wasting his time. When I mentioned that I would like to discuss options for my insomnia, he suggested "maybe you should try a psychiatrist". Not much of a treatment plan in my opinion. At the end of the appointment, both the doctor and PA left the room without a word. I had to poke my head out the door to ask if I was ok to leave. I left feeling frustrated and embarrassed."
