"My son recently graduated from Teddy Bear Cholla with Coach Elliott, who was patient and thoughtful and pushed my son to succeed. Now, in Golden Barrel with coach Jacob, he is learning to do big arms and is perfecting kicking from the hip. Coach Jacob is able to keep the lesson both fun and light-hearted while focusing on driving my son to achieve the level's goals. A big 'Thank You!' To both coach Jacob and Coach Elliott."
"I guess I should have read the reviews before enrolling my girls. Like most people say, the instructors are good, the office staff/management is terrible and rude. Main issue is how they schedule classes. Especially if you have more than one child. When one bumps up to a new level, it throws off the schedule. You get a new time that sometimes won’t work with the other child and their time slot. My price raised almost every month also. The instructors come and go often. I never know who my younger daughter will have, she’s pretty consistently gotten a different coach almost every week. Sometimes we get a notice about it, someone’s we don’t and when we do, it’s not the person they say will even be the new coach the next week. SEVERAL times we have had to end lessons early for poop in the pool which I realize isn’t anyone’s fault, however it’s very hard for us to schedule makeup lessons again because my daughters are in different levels, and I can never seem to find the same time slots or even days for them to schedule them. So we lose out on money through no fault of our own. They refuse to refund that even if none of their makeup classes work for us. And we weren’t the ones cancelling. This month they charged me not only the regular monthly fee, but a raise in price plus the annual registration fee. At the same time tho, my daughter moved up a level and when I tried getting her new schedule it was impossible to make work and the general manager was rude, inflexible, and refused any kind of refund even tho we can no longer come, so I’m paying the annual fee for no reason. She wouldn’t even refund that part. She also hung up on me at the end of the call. It may be ok for people to have one child here but two in different levels is very hard for scheduling reasons."
"I first liked this place to learn to swim because teachers are nice but always they changed my instructor and my last coach didn’t treat me fairly. When they changed my coach, I was learning Big Arm and my last coach didn’t teach me any new movement. There were three of us and the instructor was teaching only one person who had just arrived. It was like I went to the pool for free and I’m training by myself and I don’t have any trainer and I was just practicing the moves that the previous trainer taught me. While I was paying like everyone else. I was absent for the last two days of the month due to my period, but they didn’t give me appointment for those two days and didn’t even refund the money I had paid for it. I wasted my time and my money with this last trainer. This isn’t fair."
"Very experienced trainers. Two of my daughters go here who are both under 5 and they are having fun and learning a lot. The trainers do a good job of breaking down the lessons into small chunks that make it easier to learn."
"Outstanding swim program, the instructors are very welcoming and take their time with my 3 and 4 year olds. My oldest son was a Saguaro Aquatics swimmer 5 years ago at the Pima St location and now without hesitatation we're back closer to home at the new thornydale location. The indoor facility is brand new and kept extremely clean. The lessons haven't missed a beat, coach Aimee and Aurora provide top quality lessons and feed back on my kids progression. The front office young ladies are extremely nice and helpful in scheduling the lessons/makeups. You or your kiddos won't be disappointed with the experience."
