"Parents of children with special needs BEWARE! In the beginning of our relationship with Dr. Amin Chapman everything looked promising with how she would handle my son’s needs. Unfortunately that was far from the truth. She would make me feel so stupid during appointments because of things I would ask of her or when I would explain situations that were happening with my son/insurance/ or anything new that was going on with my son. I’ve been trying to get medically necessary equipment for my son for a few months now, & of course it takes time or several tries to actually get approval from insurance. But unfortunately this last time of trying to explain to Dr. Amin-Chapman, she just refused to even have a meeting with me to discuss what’s going on, & one of her MA’s called to tell that Dr.Amin-Chapman is refusing to help me anymore in the process of getting the medically necessary equipment for my son because she doesn’t feel that he’ll get approved so she rather not try anymore… I was floored by this behavior from a doctor that claims she would do anything to help children with needs. I told the MA that this was sad/unbelievable & told her I guess I’ll have to find a new pediatrician. The MA said I guess you have to then. I’m sad because we thought Dr. Amin-Chapman was a great doctor for own family, but truthfully it was all fake & she doesn’t care for children’s needs. BEWARE!"

"I have been to this office for 2/3 years, dr Jackie is an amazing dr. Wonderful in fact. The front desk ladies on the other hand... wow. Rude and so disrespectful, they do not know how to keep accurate paper work in their clients files. My legally “step” son, since they never allow you to classify your bonus child as your child, was enrolled through this drs office by ME! My husband and I filled out everything to make sure I had no problems in the future. Well guess what, they have nothing in his file that had my name on it, when I was the one who filled out his paperwork in the first place. All the paper work to ensure that I would be able to take care of MY SON and the front desk ladies couldn’t find it. Very Disorganized, they were nasty to start with and even nastier at the end. NEVER will I return. I would consider other offices before dealing with this office."

"I called to make an appointment to have a Doctor look at my daughter's legs. She has what appears to be several warts on her thighs. She has been here numerous times without incident, but they now have a policy that I could only make her appointment for that same day and not for the next day. She mumbled some excuse "about cancellations" of other patients was the reason for this rule. So they do not trust their patients to keep their appointments. It also tells me this doctor's time is much more important than us "little people" who cant be trusted to keep our appointments. We will be going elsewhere from now on."
