"Just horrible. NEVER take your children here. Her ugly personality really shines through. BEWARE and BE CAREFUL when taking your child to her. Find someone better and hope your child will experience a wonderful doctor instead of Doctor Maritza I Irizarry who needs to be reviewed and investigated. Her attitude is not even close to what she says a "40 years experience" doctor. It was more like speaking to a child as she was yelling like one. She deserves less than a one star, but that's not possible."

"Horrible staff, took so long to get my medication cause I wasn’t taken seriously enough the first time, sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy, I called back so they can send it to the right one and they never did and I didn’t find out until today. Once I get my prescription I will not be dealing with this sorry excuse for an establishment again."

"DO NOT take you children here. I decided to try a new doctor for my son when his old one moved to a new location, and it is far for me to drive. This one is right down the street. First off, the office is very old, and very very dirty. The staff are very rude. They do not even greet you when you sign your child in. The doctor was never there. My son saw the nurse assistant, or whatever you would call her. She did her exam of my son for his yearly well check. After asking about some issues he has been having with his foot over 3 times, she finally agreed to look at it. She advised she would get a referral for another type of doctor. When I asked when she would have that referral, she advised I would need to ask her again on my son's follow up visit, because unless I remind her or she has the referral in front of her, she will forget. Not something that a parent wants to hear. Today, I got the follow up appt. phone call. When I advised the lady on the phone that I needed to change my son's appt due to him having a tooth pulled that same day, she told me that does not matter and I should bring him in anyways. I told her that he may be in pain and would not want to go to another doctors visit. I changed the appt for a few days after. I asked the lady if the office had the results from my son's blood work that was done over a week ago. She told me she did not know and I could check on his next visit. I then asked again about the referral for his foot, and got the same answer. They do not seem to know what they are doing. They also dont seem to care about your child's health. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Avoid Sunshine Pediatrics at all costs. I will be making the drive next time to my son's old doctor. At least there they know what they are doing, and care about him. I had to give this place 1 star. If I had a choice, I would give it -10."

"DO NOT GO HERE!!! My son was diagnosis of having Scoliosis and the doctor here would not listen to me and she kept putting my son through pain. He was even crying and when I told her she was hurting him she told me he was stronger then I think. She did not believe that he had sclerosis instead she wanted to test him to find out things like if he had Lyme disease when he was not even sick! I felt she was using my son as a guinea pig and did not take me serious. The next day i tuck my son to Estrella Pediatrics on 91st and Thomas and after listening to me and going through his xrays they could tell he did in fact have Scoliosis! They did not make my son cry or put him through pain they looked at his back and could tell right off the back his spine was shaped as an S. Please do not go to this Pediatrics office!!"
