"I’m unable to edit my previous review so I wanted to leave another one now that I have had my surgery with Dr. Hatch. I have nothing negative at all I can say. I had the best experience possible from the Sonoran foot and ankle down to TMC where the surgery was performed. It has been a long 2-3 years and with chronic health conditions, some doctors just blow everything off and it’s discouraging, especially when you’re young with young children you want to be active with and not pay for it later. Dr. Hatch only asked we try a couple of options as I was a new patient and he didn’t want to immediately jump right to surgery, it wasn’t much to ask so I complied & all efforts failed so it led to my surgery last week. The surgery went quick and everything was explained clearly, multiple times, by everybody involved. Minimal pain which tells me he knows exactly what he’s doing. I cannot stress enough how compassionate this whole team has been. So very thankful that every dead end road led me here."

"I have been dealing with all sorts of debilitating foot pain for years as a chronic sufferer of RA & lupus, & having these diagnoses, some doctors tend to overlook a solution and often tell me it’s just something I have to deal with. After seeing two podiatrist, one of them (who is amazing) referred me to an orthopedic surgeon in Tucson. I did not have a good experience with said surgeon so I continued to look for options which led me here as a patient of Dr. Hatch. I immediately knew he was the doctor for me. He is kind, he acknowledges everyone in the room (I had to bring my daughters with me both times I saw him) and he explains the processes of everything and reasoning behind them before jumping to surgery. This makes it ten times easier to want to comply with things although I have already done everything I complied to with previous doctors. Unfortunately, surgery is my last option, however I am confident that Dr. Hatch is going to put an end to this agonizing pain. The staff at the front desk are great as well. I’ve always been in touch with friendly, understanding people. Thankful for this office and everyone that’s made it a great experience for me."

"I received excellent care from Dr. Steven Fairbanks. An old and injury was irritated by a twist and my stubborn refusal to, "take it easy," let alone see a doctor! I'm not always the best at taking care of myself. Enter Dr. Fairbanks. He ordered an MRI to get to the bottom of the issue and performed surgery to repair the damage. Having Fibromyalgia, surgery is extra challenging for me. It can cause a whole-body flare if pain medicine isn't started before surgery - there are several things that can be done to mitigate the risks. Dr. Fairbanks welcomed my input on the issue and was very accommodating, as was the anaesthesiologist at the surgical center. I'm still recovering but a Fibro Flare was averted and my pain was fairly well managed. With the new laws regarding opiates, I'm going to need to find a pain management physician for any future procedures, but Dr. Fairbanks and the after hours staff at Sonoran Foot and Ankle did their best by me.
