"Awful provider, he could care less about his patients he only wants to cut into people. He’s a good surgeon so if that’s your only goal then great. But if you are worried about pain management or aftercare then this is not the provider for you. Getting a hold of his staff is impossible and they are very rude and dismissive"
"Dr Braunstein seems like a good doctor and I liked him a lot! The process getting to see him, not so much. The check in area was chaotic and busy with no privacy whatsoever. Once in the exam room, I was left alone for nearly an hour! No one came by to check on me, or provide any updates or offer me a water or anything. I could have dropped in there and no one would have known to come to save me! I hope this was an unusual experience."
"While Dr. Braunstein initially seemed professional, care following arm surgery was mediocre at best. During a two-week follow up visit, his NP informed me that I should have been doing exercises to maintain mobility but the doctor had never communicated this, and I was therefore at risk of loosing my dominant arm’s range of motion and strength. The nurse’s attitude was condescending and judgmental, and the doctor was unwilling to prescribe physical therapy (seemingly because it would reflect poorly on his surgical skills). Arrogant and unaccountable, at a second follow up appt he failed to appear. Would caution anyone looking for a surgeon to look elsewhere."
"Was up front, shared my X-ray with me fully explained my symptom and remedy. Think he was blown away by giving me an injection that most people agonize over and I had no reaction. Also we had some good laughs. Very important to me. Thanks Dr. B."
"The doctor was great Dr. Bernstein, but the weight for the next appointment for my EMG is too far away January 31. That’s just unacceptable. This is the main reason I am scoring so low I got put on a waiting list, but they seemed very skeptical. Couldn’t get a straight answer from the receptionist."
