"I am proud to say two of my daughters have graduated from Washington high school and I have a son now in his freshman year there. I think it's a great school. It's clean. The teachers are great also."
"Very friendly administration staff and well-spoken teachers. The grounds are well kept and the students seem to like it. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five was because the classrooms themselves could use some serious updates (putting in windows, reprinting, new flooring, etc..)."
"Today I went to see if I can get a veriance I was told no because my daughter had a incident at her middle school do to her bullies, well these same bullies will attend Washington high and I'm am not gonna put my child threw this in high school (same bullies) so the dean told my my other options were home school or charter ! My daughter is a A B student and your gonna say no because of her protecting her self. No guarantee that she'll be safe there . Until a child hurts them self of starts cutting again because of bulling.."
"enjoyed my time at this school, the teachers were great and there was only one teacher i didn't really like her name was Ms. Bellzinn and the reason was because she didnt treat me fairly and she had a problem favoring others. but besides that one teacher i loved the school and cant wait to come back my senior year"
"At the beginning of this school year (2011-2012) I went to enroll my child. The enrollment process was very disorganized and the staff was very rude. The Dean at this school is the worst example of leadership I have ever encountered or at least he claimed to be the principal.. After researching I found that the principal is female; this man lied, I believe he was coach for some type of sport. When the staff member asked a question about my child and he was shown the school record from the previous school; he only saw what my child had on the previous school record. Bullying! I can understand at some point why the question, but instead of asking the story or what the issue was he just wanted to disregard us and send us on our way! He suggested Charter school instead! Well how's that for being the best? I say anybody can teach, but only a teacher can think outside the box and expect high expectations! THe expectation perceived from this man was another lowlife gang member, a trouble maker. It only takes one negative comment to a child and that child will believe the adult! I had to tell my child I believe in you! We are only human ans we make mistakes please learn from what you did and move on. Do not let anything hold you back! The only reason I wanted to enroll my child at this school was becuase I had heard it was a grand school I have seen students get scholarships here but I see now it was becuase of their own personal motivation and family support, In my opinion this school lacks teaching skills and and the staff lacks manners."
