"We have been attending this dojo for 2-1/2 years after moving to Anthem. My son and I have been doing martial arts for about 15 years, so we have attended several different schools in that time. Sensei Jared runs a casual, family-oriented class and teaches a mixture of Shotokan, Hungar, and Kenpo styles. Coming into the studio already being a black belt can be very different from one school to another. Jared is willing to accept the differences in style that we learned in our previous locations and was willing to acknowledge our previous experience without asking us to re-learn everything or pay for re-testing like some other schools I have heard of. I appreciate the emphasis on the real-world applications of the techniques we are learning. I would recommend this dojo to anyone interested in learning martial arts."
