"Ok I don’t go there but two of my friends were gonna go there and what I’ve been reading, i don’t think it’s safe for them. Parents or guardians If u r sending ur child or children there I suggest that u not send them to Secrist bc if u read other reviews you’ll see why. send them to a closer school like maybe Gridley if it’s to far I’m sorry but would u rather put ur child in school with bully’s and offer drugs or drive far or rlly far away in to a better school"

"This school has really hit rock bottom. My son has been bullied by teachers and students. Kids disrupt classes constantly. The administrator does nothing. My parental rights keep getting violated, as administration keeps having meetings about my son refusing to envolve me. My son hates school now , have real problem getting him to go to school now. This school and TUSD are horrible, don't send your child there."

"If I could I would give it a negative stars, actually that school doesn't even deserve that. My 6th grader and 8th grader for the 2016-2017 school year had actually started 2 weeks late due to not wanting them to start there to begin with. But unfortunately we couldn't find another school so I figured with all the bad publicity that they had gotten in the past and a new principal things may be different the first quarter things were amazing both children made honor roll and then the bullying started. My sixth grader has always been very smart, gate classes, testing higher than those at his grade level and never has he had anything less than a B the entire time he's been in school. Until then... he started failing, he started throwing fits not wanting to go to school, and was being pushed is school, many racist in sexual comments, And nothing was ever done. Until his father and I had enough and started pulling him out after 5th period. Finally the dean pulled him and put him in another area for sixth period. Then the bowling move Don to another class since they could no longer bully him in his sixth. And we had gone to the school numerous times about it and again nothing was done even after two more meetings my son threatening to commit suicide it took him being jumped on the way to another class by multiple students being hit in the head numerous times to where he was unconscious and likely his sister was walking by at the time and pulled the kid off him in the process she got hit in now to students were arrested because we insisted on the police being called and we are still dealing with it because the kid is been charged with a felony and the principal never called to apologize or even to check on our son and two teachers did buy as well and did nothing . The police are there daily, sometimes more than once. I wouldn't put my child there again even if I would go to jail!! IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CHILD/CHILDREN THEN HOMESCHOOL OR GO TO ANOTHER SCHOOL! Seriously your child's LIFE is on the line!!"

"I WOULD RATHER GIVE NEGATIVE STARS. This is NOT a safe environment for students. The no bully policy is non existent. When the principal is warned of threats being made nothing gets done. My child and her ffriend have been jumped twice. Once on Friday( gave screen shots of threats to principal nothing was done ) so it happened again on monday. My daughter and her friend were suspended for defending themselves. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!"

"Horrible school! Bullies galore. Lack of respect is rampant. Half the time the school zone signs are forgotten to be put out in the 40 mph road the school is on... Please consider other schools just down the street."
