"I am absolutely appauled by this school. I was harassed on 3 seperate occasions by teachers and one of the times when I brought it up to admin they asked me if it was "my time of the month" as if it was my fault. I've had staff make fun of my religious beliefs, I've been harassed by students who recieved 0 reprimanding when I reported them. The monitors clearly play favourites when they ding children for clothes or walking around without passes. Ive seen classes packed so full some students don't even have desks. Also in my senior year I had to change my schedule and had I not I wouldnt have known until graduation time that I was missing credits, because I took a credit recovery class (a result of one of the afformentioned harassment incidents) and I passed the class but not the course so I had enough credits, just not the correct ones. They also claim to be a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) school, but there are no art classes that are considered "STEAM classes" the only reason they claim to be STEAM is to go with their motto "be 212 because when water reaches 212° it begins to boil, with boiling comes steam, and steam can power a locomotive" HOWEVER you would think a school that is based heavily around science would know that in Tucson water can't even reach 208°, and also... Have none of them ever had a steaming cup of coffee or tea in the morning? I guarentee that's not boiling but there's definitely steam coming off of it."

"The school has amazing potential and a good base to it. However, violence is incredibly out of hand and can even be terrifying at times. If you can, find a different school for yourself/student."

"Real good magnet school! There are many magnet programs that students can participate in, especially robotics! Palo Verde High Magnet is famous for its robotics and engineering! School is not small nor too big, but reall good enough for students to have good connection with the teachers!"

"Palo Verde is a second home to me. The teachers and staff are there to push you to be the best you can be and they care as long as you put effort in. I love coming everyday and even on a bad day, it was still good because I was there"
